Calzaghe wouldn't fight anyone in their prime like ward. let's be honest

So I guess that kills that argument

 

Id give the edge in speed to Calzaghe and I'd tip him to out work Ward over the distance.

 

Bute

 

Cal is WAY faster than froch, so he would do better for sure.

 

That's exactly why he'll refuse to fight Bute. He'll leave Bute to fight Froch next, then Kessler and Steiglitz while Ward takes a page out of Phonys book and retires while Bute is looking for a fight, then unretire and fight Despaigne or Hopkins, then prompty retire when Bute is looking for him again.

Have people forgotten how Calzaghe made a habit of throwing a thousand punches a fight? Calzaghe still beats the Ward I saw, though I got a lot more respect for SOG now.
