Ward was there for the taking in the last two rounds, and that was at a Carl Froch pace. I see Calzaghe hurting Ward to the body like he did Kessler, only that I see Ward going down from body shots.

 

How would Calzaghe even know what Carl Froch's pace is? by fighting Peter Manfredo?

 

also who has Calzaghe stopped with bodyshots before?

Most said Calzaghe would lose most of his fights, yet he always won, how did this happen? Was it a conspiracy, were his opponents robbed or is there a faint chance he was quite good? Kessler he schooled, Lacy he beat up, Hopkins was put in his place nd his racist comments dispelled, JRR he beat like everyone else does these days, and gues what? he retired perfect, something Ward will not do!

 

Most Calzaghe fans are just flag waving fan boys who don't know or care for anything about boxing beyond their man love for their hero.

These chancers just jumped on the Calzaghe bandwagon after the Lacy fight and as such cannot comprehend that someone might actually be better than Joe. They seem to forget Joe arguably losing to the mediocre Reid or struggling in yawn fests with domestic level fighters like Thornberry and Starie.
