Dawson in this fight was too inactive , had no stamina , no will to win and in the final he gave it up !

I don't understand what it was wrong with him , he was drained and dehydrated or just Ward's skills & style of fighting broke him mentally ?:think

I mean he succeeded to beat Hopkins in their second fight who's a master of dirty tricks and a very cagey fighter but he couldn't do nothing against Ward ?!
Even against Pascal he found some will to comeback and gave Pascal a tough fight until that clash of heads incident !

I wonder if Dawson would've did better against Ward if this fight would've been held at 175 pounds ?:think

    thoughts ?

    This.

Dawson at 175 would actually fight and not be so weakened that he is hurt in every round and his stamina is ****.

Watch ***** boy ward be afraid of a 175 pound chad for a belt regardless that he dominated him. There a reason he chose 168 instead of a history making belt at 175 and beating a healthy chad. ***** boy wards fear is so apparant.

One quick point, Andre Ward fought at 178.2 lbs (81 Kilos) as an amatuer, he cut weight to fight at 168 as a pro. Ward has had to cut weight his entire career.

Chad Dawson started his pro career at 162 lbs.
Dawson had to gain weight to make it to the supermiddleweight limit of 168 lbs. At 175 , I read he barely makes it to 175 lbs and has trouble gaining weight, much less have to cut weight. Several times Dawson fought at 173 lbs, and 172 lbs.

Dawson fought Andrian Diaconu and Glenn Johnson at 173 lbs.

He's been making 175 for 6 years you **** in his early 20 he was at 160 when his body was smaller and he could drain easier now he's a 30 year old man that hadn't been to 168 for more then 6 years. **** off.

Unless the extra weight would have somehow stopped Ward from parrying his lead jab forcefully down and circling leftwards to neutralize his punching angle, I think Ward would still win.

This ^^^^. Ward by UD or maybe a stoppage but Chad has a better chance of lasting the 12.

Being weak means your not in top form physically so how could he actually be boxing at his best? I know bogo you saw the technical **** but mentally and physically that wasn't a normal chad. So I don't put much weight on that technical stuff when has dawson been.down 3 times and hurt in every round he's faced bigger men and bigger punches if you don't.take that into account the technical stuff is irrelevant chad hadn't been at 168 since 2006.

Ward would still win, but he might not stop him.

You don't think Andre Ward has matured any since the 2004 Olympics when he was 178 lbs? Ward just naturally got smaller and his metabolism speeded up as he got older. Andre has cut a lot more weight than Dawson.

Dawson has fought four times at 172 lbs or 173 lbs. He has trouble getting to 175 lbs.

Ward wins still maybe not by KO but most likely by points.

I read somewhere that the only reason Ward moved up was because he didn't want to end up fighting his buddy Dirrell. He wasn't 178 pounds.

Ward naturally got smaller? Wow, no words.

And btw Dawson rehydrates to over 185+ pounds at LHW. How the **** could he have trouble making 175.
