mutha ****a brings anything related to Floyd and Manny into threads. ****in obsessed with both of em!atsch
I take 0 away from Andre Ward but the weight did hurt Dawson. Ward beats Dawson 12-0 at 175, but I don't think he'd stop him.
What's "normal Chad"? For me, normal Chad is a fighter who is prone to mental lapses, depends heavily on his jab to set up his offense, and was beaten soundly by an ambush fighter in Pascal. Sure, he might be more durable at 175, but does that mean he's going to suddenly find a cure for Ward's stylistic strengths? Dawson was still the stronger man and muscled out Ward in the clinch early on; it was only later in the fight Ward had softened up his body enough to comfortably work inside.
In the first and second rounds it was obvious that Dawson was the much stronger man to me. I think that Ward was a little hurt a couple times from Dawson, but Ward has a great poker face.
I like how you call him ***** boy while he has fought pretty much all the top guys at 168lbs...Can you say the same for the guy in your AV?
So what I ain't talking about his career I am talking about one instance. All those attacking my AVI are hilarious. I have dozen other fav fighters in boxing, so come at me I don't care.
Your trying to act like Ward forced Dawson to come down in weight. It was Dawson's stupid ass who called Ward out AT WARD'S WEIGHT.
It wasn't the weight difference, fk; it was Ward. He reduced Kessler, Abraham 'n Froch ta sparring partners. Ward ain't charismatic, but he's cagey as a fox 'n nullifies what top-tier fighters can do and lands enough ta earn well-deserved decisions. P.S. Doya think Marquez would've better against Mayweather at any weight?
He did, Dawson specifically said he would prefer at 175 or at least a catch weight when Ward said no dice, Dawson said let me at least get 170, then Ward said no dice, ward being the money man hustled himself into a nice little advantage, dawson was just money hungry willing to drain himself to make the fight for himself and the fans, ward just cared about advantages and if Dawson would have stood his ground Ward would have moved on. The fight was easy to make because of Dawsons willingness to make the fight.
Again, Dawson's fault not Ward's. He shouldn't have called him out at 168lbs if he was going to insist on a catchweight later on. And lets face it, if they faced at a catchweight, it would most likely have been for Dawson's LHW title and people would have been bashing Ward for it as well.
Right. Ward has a better jab, is the better infighter, and controls distance better than anyone not name Marquez or Floyd imo atm. Ouch. Ward dominating Froch still beats anything Alvarez ever did helly maybe just beating Bika alone. There's still hope for Alvarez but I wouldn't call him a "*****" as a fighter cause it takes heart to get in there but def compared to Ward he is. Brave move on Dawson's part but he is to blame if he didn't feel good at the weight but he did not make any excuses which was humble of him. Made me respect him more. In total, they all won 4-5 maybe 6 rds against Ward and they're very good fighters. Just shows how special Ward is and also bashes the "Dawson didn't look good" argument. I don't think any Dawson would look good against Ward and like Zopolite said Dawson called Ward out at that weight.
But Dawson did worse than those guys, worse even than Green and Miranda. Maybe it's a styles makes fights thing, but that applies for fighters of similar class. Dawson is levels above these 2. I think Marquez would have a chance with Floyd at 140, and KOs him at 135 now.
