Cotto took a bigger beating than Dawson did. You need to stop being a boxrec warrior and start watching the ****ing fights, that way you wont look like a fool with every post you make.

Pacquiao is not a welterweight, so he's well entitled to ask for some parity. He could likely make 135lbs still, so if he's asking a natural welterweight to drop a couple of pounds, is his opponent really the one with a disadvantage?

Dawson had no business fighting at 168lbs and it showed on fight night. He would never have been stopped by Ward at 175.

Chad didn't ask to fight Ward at 168...he called him out and let Ward dictate where, when and at what weight they would meet.

143 is not a weight class but PAC didn't fight Cotto at 143...he faced him at 145...1 pound less than where he fought Josh a few months before.

PAC did face DLH at 147 but DLH was fighting at 154 and since PAC was moving up TWO weight classes they agreed that DLH would drop down to Welter weight in order to get the fight done and make it more fair.

PAC went down to Jr WW to take Ricky's belt and planned to stay but Cotto called PAC out and negotiated to an agreed catch weight. Again...just one pound under where he was in his last fight before Manny.

Pac has only had a catch weight fight with Cotto, JMM and Marg...that's not a lot considering he's usually the smaller guy stepping up in weight to face guys who out weight him a good 10 to 20 pounds.
