no. read my thread. i loved the Judah Floyd fight. just dont agree that Ward would "hurt" Dawson more than Floyd did to Judah. Judah was on his way out before he threw the low blow.

i dont see Ward KOing him, just winning convincingly.

Bhop wasnt 50 in that fight, that guy was moving, and jumping all around in that ring to avoid punches. I absolutely compare Ward to Bhop in that fight. I didnt see a slow, old, tired Bhop. His reflexes were sharp. Ward is slow as ****, and its nothing we can do to change that. Dont compare his speed to Dawson's thats just silly. Ward shut out Froch, but he did get touched and the reason i brought it up is because Froch is SUPER SLOW. Imagine what Chad can do considering that his lightyears faster than Ward. When Chad fought Pascal, Chad only trained four weeks. Im not making excuses, he lost fair in square. But Pascal is a HORRIBLE fighter, and Chad should have dominated and stopped him within 5 rounds. NO ONE is going to beat Chad with that wild, sloppy, style the way Pascal did Pascal just doesnt know how to fight. So I dont look at that as a blue print. Show me Chad being beat by a real fighter, not an undertrained Chad being beat with an easy swarm style from a slow handed little bitty bum azz Pascal. Glen was competitive with Chad because he's a tank and super durable. Ward is better than Glen, but not as durable. Chad had a game plan to walk down glen and stop him. When it didnt work, he had to run and he wasnt prepared for it. These days Chad calms down and just throws that check hook all day. IF Chad is not drained, Ward will just be too slow and short to even be competitive. He will only be good enough to make the fight ugly.

    stopped reading after this point.

    you're delusional.

long story short, Ward WILL dominate Dawson and you'll see his handspeed for yourself :good

I think Dawson wins a decision. I know, hard to believe. Especially in Oakland.

I like both fighters, but I feel Dawson is being underestimated here. He has the height, reach, speed and power advantages. If Chad isn't effected by the weight, Ward has got tall task in front of him.

he's definately not being underrestimated by me. this will be Ward's toughest fight to date. it's Ward's will to win along with his skills that makes me think he handles business.

Ward always puts on a masterpiece when it really matters. he has alot at stake.

He's put on masterpeices against a crude 1 handed fighter and a 1 eyed 1 handed fighter. Dawson is a level or two above Froch and Kessler.

Ward isn't an old man, not an average joe like Adamek, and definately aint no J. Pascal.

it goes both ways, they both have not fought a challenge like this one. which is why it's such a great fight.

People underestimate Ward too. Honestly I don't see how he keeps winning. He seems to have the ability to nullify anything his opponents put forth. I think Dawson is over his mental lapses too. But that's just speculation. I honestly don't know how this fight is going to go. That's a refreshing feeling to this boxing fan. Can't wait.

There isn't much a difference between the Hopkins Dawson fought and Ward of the Froch fight. The difference is Hopkins was fighting a big fast southpaw..and Ward was fighting a slow crude 1 handed fighter. Put Hopkins in against Froch, and he doesn't lose a round either.

So when Hop was cornered, and Chad started throwing his superfast flashy combos, Bhop wasnt moving like a cornered wild cat? You dont have to lie just because you want to convince yourself that your right in this debate. Im completely unbiased. After that fight, thats the first thing that came to my mind. Hop did good, and he earned my respect. Ward will do the exact same thing Hop did. And btw, I never seen Ward as a reflex type of fighter. His move ment is very slow, although he is skilled. It might be less competitive than the Hop fight cuz styles make fights.

I agree, Chad has let the draining get in his head. He has been noticably scared, but I dont think it will matter once they are in the ring and he's forced to discover that he has too many advantages over Ward. Unless of course he is drained.

P4P, Judah is faster than Dawson.

That's why he gave Floyd some problems at the start of their fight.

I don't know I think people overuse hindsight wisdom when it comes to these two fighters. The same people before the fight saying they can't win are saying that the win doesn't deserve any credit after the fact. That's bull****.

I use this as a general rule: if I didn't give that fighter a chance to win, I have to give him credit if he does. I wish more people shared that opinion.
