Ward vs Dawson

    Saw on twitter they are discussing this fight, seems strange when Ward is only 1 or 2 fights from seriously clearing out a division, but who would you pick here?

    Ward should try and clean out Super Middle as said. Shouldn't take too much longer. If/when he does move up to light heavy, don't think there's many who would cause him too many problems.

    Ugly fight. Empty arena. Seems like an expensive, tough sell for whoever promotes it to me.

    Ward by ownage. Barely competitive, Ward shuts Dawson down.

    Bute can move up after he beats Froch. I'd rather see Bute fight Ward closer to their natural weights. Light Heavy is also the more historically prestigious division and needs a boost as it stands.

    Exactly. If Andre Direll grew some balls he'd be better suited for it as well. 175 would be decent with:

    Dawson
    Cloud
    Pascal
    Ward
    Bute
    Campillo
    Shumenov
    Braehmer
    Cleverly
    Dirrell
    Kessler

    Agree with everyone else, Ward. Ward would put him to the sword on the inside. Don't think Dawson is consistent enough throughout every round to do what he's supposed to do against a smaller man. Even Hopkins could sucker him in on occasion and his output was minimal.
