The WBC has sanctioned Ward Vs. Dirrel as a title fight and Froch Vs. Abraham as a final eliminator.
Well I think that Froch and Abraham should be rightly pissed about this turn of events.

Kessler at the same WBC meeting was given the status of champion emeritus.

This is stupid. It should be the other way around, without question. Maybe it's just a way to further force these two into the ring? It seems to have come out of nowhere, so it wouldn't surprise me.

    wtf!
Damn i feel bad for Abraham, how much longer till he gets a title fight at smw.
Big night though for Dirrel and Ward. Ward could become the WBA/WBC champion, and Dirrel s biggest night is ahead of him.

Strange...I thought it definitely would have been up for grabs in the Abraham Froch bout. Oh well, at least Dirrell v Ward seems to be back on...and serves as more motivation for both Abraham v Froch.

    Two quality bouts...should be good.

Ward vs Dirrel is the biggest fight of the year IMO

Very strange, and not very fair towards Froch and AA either.
I guess the bitching about the Ward - Dirrell bout is the trigger for this indeed.

Both Froch and Abraham are coming off a loss, where Dirrell and Ward are both coming off wins. I hope this makes Dirrell and Ward get their act together and make that fight now.

thats true and so long as the winner dosent try and make off with the belts without the winner of Froch v Abraham getting their shot then it doesnt reallty matter.

After Wards spoiled **** antics i hope Direll wipes the floor with him.

Dirrell is ranked number 1, in front of Froch and Abraham. Seems logic to give the chance to your number 1. :think

why not hold the WBC belt back until the final. that way no-one gets their hands on it before winning the Super Six

Yea, it's a real travesty that the WBC''s #1 ranked contender gets to fight for the title. Not to mention what you stated.
