This is just my opinion and observation of the two andres. Im addressing the hype and truth of the matter. Before the super six, i didnt know either one of these guys, i heard a little about ward and watched the miranda fight which was nothing special but he DID beat the guy. after watching dirrell "beat" froch i was an instant fan. the guy has a classic, entertaining style and loads of raw talent and fundamentals. everyone is saying how versatile ward is and this and that, i admire that he has to do whatever to win but the guy is a classic spoiler. your two biggest wins are based on questionable rough house tactics only allowed by hometown refs. i think his circumstances are more noticable than his skill (homefield advantage). i also think that dirrell is being baptised by fire. only having 18 fights and your first step up is going to enemy territory against an undefeated champ who just ko'd a former undisputed champ? he gets props alone for that. then fighting another undefeated champ (though at home) who just put a guy out of the tournament? i think dirrell has had the more difficult, uphill battle but the golden boy ward is taking all the glory. i guarantee if the roles were reversed, ward would not be undefeated. i am now a die hard dirrell fan and am liking ward less and less based on his style. i am soo happy that they are fighting next and they can shut everyone up (maybe including me). dirrell is the most talented smw and as soon as he fully harnesses all of his talents he will be unstoppable. period.

Dirrell didnt beat Froch, and Dirrells only big win is a DQ win against a small former MW champ who has no real SMW resume and whos big win was who? And Dirrell was out cold when the fight finished. It dosent sound great

I like Dirrell and can't stand Ward's punch and hold style (not to mention his jesus sh*t) and I really want to side with Greatone, but Bailey makes some d*mn good points...

Sadly I got Ward beating Dirrell based on his mental toughness and rough house tactics, but I really hope i'm wrong...

Bailey also posts like a moron, and is a biased Euro-boxer fanboy. Does that make him credible?

AA was undefeated and is still considered a dangerous KO artist at SMW, and Dirrell was only KOed when he was DOWN. That's why the fight was ruled a DQ. AA had to hit him after he slipped, and you can't even begin to tell me that you can take one off the chin from Abraham while you're down and blink it off. You just say the basic things, rather than throw in the circumstances, and think you have a legitimate argument.

And if you think Froch really won that fight, watch it again and score it yourself (I had Dirrell 115-113). But then again, you are biased as **** for Euro boxers, so that wouldn't do any good either, cuz you'd still give Froch a hometown decision.

I rank Dirrell highly as well. I disagree with your assessment of Ward. I think he is very good and the upcoming fight between the two is a pick em fight for sure. I'll be rooting for Dirrell, but he will be the underdog. In my estimation, Dirrell has the most potential out of the Super Middleweight contenders right now. If he continues to fight like he did in the fight vs Abraham, I don't see anyone beating him in this tournament except for Ward and that is questionable.

I saw what i needed to in the froch fight to see that dirrel has serious potential and raw talent. The counters he was landing were beautiful. Also he is progressing nicely and using his advantages more and more. I think that the matrix nick name is fitting. He has great vision in the ring, excellent reflexes and excellent timing. I want to see dirrell fight kessler and ward.
