Ward vs Dirrell off

Anyone who thought this fight was gonna happen in September is in a dream world. You think Ward's gonna fight back to back so soon against maybe his toughest challenge of the lot....no ****ing chance, The lad was partying on the weekend of Diaz vs Marquez. FreddyWak got a pic with him. He had no intentions of doing it so soon.

The fight will happen so it's no biggy.

 

They should both be fined. Big time. And kicked out of the competition, which is a shame but what they deserve if they refuse to fight.

 

this is the 2nd time a Ward fight has had to be moved.

some of the other promoters weren't happy with him or his promoter.

 

i get that it will only be posponed and not cancelled but the thing is this tournement is draging out a bit as it is so these problems are big ones

 

I'm surprised that timeframes for fights weren't laid out in the fighters contracts

 

Stupid refusing to fight? I reckon Ward might of seen big money elsewhere possibly fighting Lucian Bute?

 

Talking about Andre Ward...

Wasn't it good to see some common sense in the latest edition of The Ring about him? For those who don't buy the magazine, or for those who do but haven't read the article yet, they were saying that its time to take a step back and stop proclaiming Ward as the next big superstar...

As they said, he hasn't proved anything yet apart from that he's useful...

 

He can't do that. The only way out of fighting Dirrell is retiring and he's not going to do that. If he pulled out he would be sued so much it wouldn't be worth it. Hershman was asked about the possibility of someone pulling out during the tournament before the super 6 started and he laughed.

The fight will happen. No need to get worried

Give 'em all the time they need because theres no way that that untalented man should be in the tournement, nevermind the semi finals :deal

 

Get it sorted FFS. They should make Froch/AA anbd Ward/Dirrell a double header in Monnaco.

 

i think theres a fair chance ward v dirrell might be crooked anyway, anyone having a bet on ward for this wants their head tested

 

It's a disgrace, i hope they knock each other out when they finally fight

 

i cant stand either fighter but im hoping dirrell wins this, i hate wards 'boreing in with head' dirty tactics.

 

Yeah I read it, some people have went overboard with their comments on him, the Ring brought it into perspective though.

 

Kick them both out.
