    Who did I leave out? :huh The awesome Sakio Bika? The shell of long time gate keeper Edison Miranda? The Andrade that many feel knocked Lucian out? or Maybe the 300 year old middleweight William Joppy?

    Bute's resume has holes, Johnson is his best win and I do give him credit for that, but that's pretty much all he has to support his claim as the best SMW in the world.

    Green is awful, Abraham is a MW really, he would never be effective at 168; and if you're still factoring in Jermain Taylor then that's your choice, but he's not relevant.

    You went all sarcastic on Laffie saying how Bute "proved" he was one of the best by fighting the guys you mentioned.

    What you didn't mention is while Ward & Froch were fighting cans and lingering at the bottom of the Ring top 10, Bute had quasi dominated Ring ranked Bika in a title eliminator, taken out Berrio who was considered quite dangerous a puncher at 168 at the time, and outboxed Andrade (Ring #3) a la Kessler over 11 rounds before the exhaustion fiasco went down. Bute was Ring #2.

    If you implied Laffie was wrong by saying the Super Six assembled the "6 best SMW's in the world" at the time, you're done as dinner. It wasn't the case.

    That was my point.

    This was brillant i think.............

    Surely Ward is the more talented boxer, but he also seems to be a "Control freak". Talking slowly, dont like to be interupted, dont like to fight away !

    Froch is very aware about that - and he wants to rock the SOG early - and THEN we will have a FIGHT..............:bbb:bbb:bbb:bbb
