Froch and especially JCC Jr are naturally much bigger so those fights would prove nothing either? Actually taking on and beating Ward would be much bigger and better than beating Canelo or Cotto. Ward before his layoff was the #2 P4P fighter in the world a proven champ against elite comp. If GGG does in fact beat Ward he would rocket up the P4P list into the top 3.

Im not sure thats true, Ward fights more cautious. GGG is just as skilled, but he too bent on making an impression so he gets tagged.

Yes, if he beat them, if he didn't though it wouldn't mean much as to how good he is as a middleweight which is his natural weight class. And at least thoes fights seem somewhat competitive so they're far more interesting to me personally. You're not wishing this fight because you want to see Golovkin prove himself against the elite, you want to see this fight to see Golovkin get beat because nobody who knows anyhting about boxing would pick Golovkin here.

Golovkin is a skilled fighter, and quite underrated at times as well but nowhere near Ward, let's not kid ourselves here. You see, what makes Golovkin such a good middleweight is that he's got that equalizer, if Ward was a middleweight, I could actually see a good argument for Golovkin beating Ward but Ward is not only the more skilled fighter, he's got size on him as well. This is going only one way.

As long as he fights Ward before a) Ward moves up (which is looking likely) or b) either man is passed prime. I don't care if it's 2016 or 2017, I just want to see it at some point.

Financially this fight doesn't make a lot of sense. High risk, low reward.

I guess you don't rate GGG that highly if you think it will be that easy for Ward. I want to see GGG fight a elite fighter, he's 33 not 23. I was fine with him trying to fight Froch and didn't blame him when Froch retired. I wanted to see him fight both Cotto and Canelo and never blamed him when they showed no interest. Hell I even wanted to see him fight JCC Jr and never blamed him when the fight fell thought because of JCC Jr's contract issues. I want to see him fight somebody other than the Murray's of the world.

Ward needs to fight Kovalev and prove his Chin. When was the last time Ward actually fought at 168? 2012? :huh

He is closer to a Light Heavyweight now than Super Middleweight.

Ward was knocked down and hurt before, GGG wasnt, doesnt that too speak of skill? Ward looked good at super 6 but that was a long time ago.

I always called Pac by his name until the fight and he made excuses. If you don't like it too damn bad.

What would you predict? I am guessing a wide UD for Ward.

If you want to see him fight any elite fighters, I guess what I'm saying doesn't apply to you, but I see many people begging for this fight specifically, not Froch, not Cotto or Canelo. Just Ward, and I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with how great this fight is.

I give Golovkin a puncher's chance that is if his power carries up.

With ward only being allowed to rehydrate to 180, and with a proactive ref, GGG chops him down.

This isn't KESSLER who was butted to blindness... smoger and Nady won't allow it.
This isn't caveman Carl who can only punch from the outside.
This isn't Abe who can only punch when nothings coming back.

This won't be in jokeland with judges scoring low blows and rabbit punches in the clinches.

    GGG KO 7/9

Lol i'm a fan of golovkin. If this was the other way round ward would be labelled a ducker if he didn't take this fight if golovkin was calling him out. I hope the same happens when golovkins team say 164 or nothing and the fight doesn't happen, they know saying 164 means no fight.
