    Who wins

    speed: Advantage Ward

    Movement : Advantage Ward

    Experience: Kessler

    Power: Kessler (though dubious because Kessler couldnt drop Andrade or even China cin Mundine) Hopkins Jones dropped Joe and Kessler landed cleaner.


    Outcome: Home advantage is BIG...Ward in a a SD/ close pnts decision expect Ward to get even better after this.


    I am a Brit and want Froch to win, but boxing needs a a new superstar at this weight, Ward is a really likeable dude,,I hope he wins the tourney.

    Gotta go with Kessler. He has fought and beat better opposition than Ward has fought. Aside from the loss to Calzaghe, who is clearly great, he has dominated his opposition. He has a higher KO percentage vs better opposition. Ward's most recent win over Miranda, while dominating, was rather pedestrian. Miranda isn't as mobile or skilled as Kessler, and I have to figure that Ward isn't quite ready for that.

    It says a lot that Ward hit Miranda with everything and wasn't close to putting him down, while Abraham flattened him in four.

    I think that stylistically, this is the worst match-up for Kessler from the tournament.

    Ward has never fought anyone like Kessler, or has even fought a boxer with B level skills. This fight will show what Ward is made of.

    Im picking Ward for the upset by SD. As long as he sticks to a hit and grab strategy and stay close he'll win but I wouldn't be shocked if Kessler won bc he is a beast.
