Ward needs to get out of motballs quick, fight a guy like rodriguez and the maybe GGG or the Froch-Groves winner. Then i would like to see him move up to fight a guy like kovalev.

As for who would win, ****. Hard to call. I haven't seen Kovalev in with a master boxer like Ward, although Campillo is a good boxer but with a totally different style. Ward is masterful at disarming strong, big punching guys, but i don't think he's faced a puncher quite as big as Kovalev and Kovalev seems to be a damn good boxer too, with patience, composure, a high workrate, a good jab...

like i said, really hard to call.

Ward will not fight Kovalev. He will keep going on about how he has cleaned up 168, or he will try and drain LHWs to come down and fight. Why dont he move up, if he's nothing left at 168 then go take on a guy like Kovalev.

Hell, he can have it in America too. As long as there is a ref that can count to 10!

Too risky for Ward, so he'd probably keep hunting at SMW or may be try to get a shot at Hopkins. For Kovalev there are potentially bigger, unification titles at LHW. Can't see it happening for a while.

This is definitely the most challenging fight out there for Ward, more so than having GGG moving up. Ward UD or Kovalev KO, a very intriguing fight

Ward will duck this fight like he has been ducking a rematch with Froch and Kessler. This American pusssssssy doesn't want anything to do with Kov. Fair play to Cleverly for having the balls to fight him. But Ward has no balls, he will duck this. If they do fight Ward knows he will be leaving the ring in a stretcher. :rofl

Are you sure Ward would fight him 175 and not 168 just like against Dawson?

I would have to favour Ward. He has a good defense, is much faster and Kovalev hasn't fought anyone good yet. Kovalev does hit hard enough to stop Ward though so he has a decent chance.

This is the best fight that can be made in all boxing today. They both use distance for offense and defense. They both are calm and control pace. The best part they both fight on HBO and are not promoted by Top Rank. THIS IS A FIGHT THAT COULD ACTUALLY HAPPEN.

  10. Kovalev knocks Ward out in round 6.

Based on what he did to Cleverly?

You guys get caught up in the moment after every fight..

Kovelev didn't have much in front of him last night.:deal

  14. Ward will not fight before Summer 2014 .. who had ever fought before?? Shot Abraham?? Hyped Froch?? Surferboy Kessler??
    Kovalev will destroy Ward ..

It comes all the time like I predicted

TT K.O es Price in 2

    GGG KO'es Macklin in 3

    Kovalev KO'es Cleverly in 4

All of those result were unrealistic for you like now

Kovalev K.O'es Ward in 6 by brutal K.O and he breaks his spirit in round 3.

Hilarious poll result. Ward is arguably the best boxer on earth at the moment. How is this crap even up for debate?
