Ward vs Kovalev final predictions - make your case.

Actually there's an interview where Kovalev states the public only saw the real him for 4 rounds last fight. That doesn't sound like a guy confident that he comfortably won the first encounter. What's important is that you feel he did, we should prepare ourselves for an utter schooling tomorrow Lomo style.

 

My prediction is ward with a clear dominant victory, KO or UD, But i would be out of my mind to think there is no chance of kovalev wining in the same fashion. I just think ward is one of those fighters who can make drastic adjustments and i haven't seen anything that shows me kovalev can do the same but if he can, i will be very impressed and will give him major props.

 

The 7th was Ward's best round of the fight, and Kovalev won the 10th.

 

qwertyblahblah....well, yeah my prediction did come out of nowhere. not in line with the "make your case" part of the posting. it is that everything has been said that can be said. I do not expect much to change from either fighter. However, I do think that Kov has something Ward does not. Fight ending power. I expect that to be the difference in this fight. I also viewed the first fight as not so close. Kov was the clear winner and he will make it clear to all with a ko this time around. Been wrong before ....I am not Biff of the Back to the future movies. noone is. Kov by KO by round 6.

 

All are predicting there own opinion.. Nice to see that..! in my view ward will defend his title this time..

Genuinely exited for this fight. I'm going with Kovalev by ko. No messing about this time when he gets him hurt he won't let him off the hook.

I like both guys but Ward is....well Ward is Ward. Ward can adapt quickly to changes in front of him and frustrate his opposition with tie ups and a few elbows.

Krusher is always dangerous but he fails to have a backup plan IMO and with Ward you need plan A, B and C!!!

 

I'm going with my initial prediction of Kovalev in 9.

I think that it is Ward who has to do the more adapting in the rematch, Kovalev showed him too much respect in their first fight.

 

I picked Ward in the first fight (though I thought Kovalev edged it) and will be picking Kovalev this time around. I have a funny feeling Kovalev will stop him this time

 

and somehow we are supposed to be focused on this fight with Titanic's avatar being one of the hottest babes on the planet? Sheesssshhhh!!!!

 

Kovalev should have received the nod in the first fight.

So what will each guy do differently the second time and who will do it better?

I'm picking Kovalev to win a decision. Ward had no answer to his jab in any part of the fight and better conditioned Kovalev if he's smart will throw it more often.

The odd thing is Ward who isn't the puncher is better up close, but to do that he's got to get past the jab and out think / maneuver Kovalev.

When you have to near even match ups, factor in who wants it more. That to me os Kovalev.
