Kovalev is a nice guy but he's one of these persons who can immediately change and get upset I think, when there's some injustice. Which was the case in the outcome of their first match. If every relevant name in boxing, from boxing commentators, to experts, to Floyd Mayweather Jr. and other great boxers say that Ward didn't win, then there must be some truth behind it. Kovalev is a different man this time. He doesn't try to be nice in interviews, he doesn't speak English. He's using Russian, he doesn't care about the face offs and stuff. He is not trying to intimidate his opponent, he knows he will try everything to destroy him from round 1. He knows he can hurt Ward. Kovalev believed too much in fairness and didn't take any risks because he knew he was ahead on points. This won't happen this time. I predict that he will go all in from round one, like against Cleverly and knock Ward out in the first half of the fight.
It's true man, how could Ward's name not be on the left side last time? It was like Floyd vs Ortiz. Floyd was the clear A-Side even though Ortiz was the champion for that fight. It was just absurd for me.
Feel bad for Kovalev. I think he knows that the first fight was the best chance he'll ever have to beat Ward and it's gotta' hurt that bad scoring cost him that chance.
As half the forum told you when you imagined this was an issue then: Kovalev's name was listed first for the first bout because he was the reigning champion.
This habit of calling strangers out over internet will 99/100 lead to nothing as I'm sure you are aware. The problem being that nobody sane or not extremely confident in their fighting capabilities will take you up on it, that leaves you open to 2 possible opponents for this showdown in Houston, 1. Some nutcase shows up and stabs/shoots/rapes you. 2. Some Fedor Emilianenko type is in the area and has 20minutes to kill. I know you just see it as calling bluffs but if these offers are sincere I can only see negative outcomes.
Which was a farce because he was the B-side, was Vicious Vic's name listed first in the Jr fight? Hm?
Hahahahaha!!! "Some Fedor Emelianenko type shows up with 20 minutes to kill." Lmao! Ouch! Pimp C gets on my nerves sometimes but even I don't wish THAT upon him! Lol!
Sorry Sport.. but Sergey should have the bigger image on the fight poster AND be presented as the A-side. He's after all the people's champ! And 75% of the population agree with me. Man June can't come soon enough! Sergey will lay Ward AND this whole dumb argument as to who's the REAL champ to rest.
Not worried about it, these fools on here are weak and fake as **** keyboard racists who won't say **** or do anything in person. I'm the only one here who post videos of myself out at my house or in these streets, I'm not fake. I'm certified here in the H pull up.
You are probably right but why take on such a negative freeroll? Will need a translation on what the "pull up" part means, I know what certified is and am guessing "H" for Houston?
Ward is like the passenger who on one occasion, decides to step in front of the train to display his bravery and merely escapes with his life due to the drivers diligence. Before the train driver saw ahead the lone figure on the tracks and duly put on his emergency breaks as he knew he would kill him if he went any further. However foolishly this same foolhardy passenger then attempts to fool all the witnesses by proclaiming to everyone that he was the one who had stopped the train through his will The witnesses challenge the passenger, to repeat the feat if he truly does possess the ability to stop the train. He then argues that he deserves a break after working hard to stop the train and returns home and says he may never return to any station again much to the crowd's disappointment and doubt. The driver hears word of these stories that his train was overcome by a man who was situated on the tracks. Bewildered and riled that such an attempt to spare the passangers life was not appreciated, he promised that next time his train would not stop, but instead his hands would only push firmly on the leaver to accelerate without letting go. The passanger after being flooded with questions and offers from the media, journalists and dabblers, lamentably becomes drunk and overcome by his own ego, leading him to genuinely believe that he really did stop the train. Through his boastfulness he is left with no choice but to attempt to repeat the feat. The passanger's only hope is that the train driver doesn't turn up or the train itself malfunctions before it connects with his body. Lamentably the misguided passanger fails to realise this isn't any old train, it's made from pure Russian steel and the driver has shined up and put in special oil to make it glide even faster for more devastating impact.
