Ward has never fought a legit threat because he beats everyone easily :D

But from what you mean, Dawson, Froch and Abraham were less than four years ago and just over four years ago. Are people really this bad at Math? This is kindergarten level stuff :patsch

One good thing is that the media seems to have moved on (I hate to derail this thread but thanks to the Ward fanboys themselves they have derailed it before my posts anyway), I do not see questions about Ward being asked anymore, people are focusing on 160.

It's just Ward fanboys for some reason who are still salty about it lol.

I wouldn't have **** to say if GGG fans didn't try to play people for fools and try and say GGG-Lemieux was Hagler-Hearns and PPV worthy. If they admitted GGG wanted nothing to do with Ward ruining a great fight for the sport. Like I said before if it was Ward who did the same thing GGG did he would be run out of the sport.

He didn't ruin anything, the fight wasn't even remotely a possibility at this stage anyway, you knew it full well. It just didn't make any sense for GGG, and yes as a result he wanted nothing to do with Ward, I've never claimed otherwise.

If you think it's solely because he was afraid to lose, well that's your opinion, you can keep it, albet I think it's a totally foolish one.

If Ward ever actually faces Kovalev I will be impressed. If he beats him I will be amazed

If Ward beats Kovalev he's P4P #1, no question and honestly not far from all time greatness.

    Yeah he will.

Ward has a vision and a legacy he wants to fulfil. When he displays his Joe Louis level skills in his next two fights , Krusher will go runnin like he ran from The Superman.

Krusher won't run from Ward, watch David Jackson's interviews, he's on record saying that's the fight they want the most, they think it'd be an easy win for Kovalev.

Course they want it now. Ward wasn't even a big 168 pounder.

Ward will be on a different level by next year, once he has a few fights under his belt and is fully developed into the weight class.

The fight is a huge undertaking for him but i wouldn't be all that worried with the talent he possesses. Wards deserves massive props if the deal including Kovalev is for real.

He does in all honesty, though for Ward there's not many options out there, even so to take on an especially dangerous opponent when he could be sitting and collecting paychecks from Jay-Z deserves massive kudos.
