Not in a commercial sense but in a boxing sense.

Since Canelo-Smith. I'm beyond excited for this fight and I know the Canelo numbers haven't come back yet but I'm guessing they will be around 200,000 to 300,000. I don't think Kovalev-Ward does that much. I think this is one of the best fights that can be made in boxing too.

Easily this and would not reject out of hand that this is a bigger fight than Floyd/Pac in terms of relevance.

In a boxing sense? As far as two skilled fighters going against each other? Gonzalez vs Cuadras.

You know what is interesting about this fight? Ward jumped the line a LOT to get this fight. He fought Brand for the mando position for some reason when Brand wasn't even ranked anywhere lol. Still interested in this fight, but I find it funny how that worked out.

People saying Canelo/Smith are huge fanboys and should be added to everyone's ignore list.

Ring Magazine which is biased towards Canelo, as it is OWNED BY GOLDEN BOY PROMOTIONS. Can only lie to the point of ranking Canelo as #8 P4P. HE IS NOT THAT GOOD. Liam smith is the only opponent he fought in a legit weight class in years. In fact Lara probably is a better fight than Canelo and andrade possibly too. Also if you must know that publication ranks both Ward and Kovalev as Top P4P fighters. (Kova is #2, Ward is #4).

Given that its not very often you see two P4P fighters going at it, I would say this is the biggest fight since Pac/May. Now it won't do the numbers of that fight or many others, but as a true boxing fan you should realize how important this fight is.

    It's bigger than Pacquiao Mayweather.

This is the most relevant fight since Pacquioa Marquez II.

Yeah, it's got to be the biggest since the second Pac-JMM.

For people who know boxing this should be regarded as the biggest fight since PacWeather, but for casuals it won't be that big.
