Ward is going to give him such an ass kicking that Krofleloaf is going to run to Pascal and kiss his feet and beg for forgiveness for his racism.

Kovalev is and will be the favorite both in and outside the bookmakers. It just makes it sweeter for S.O.G. loyalists.

Kovalev, what I've seen on Saturday doesn't change my mind one bit either, Kovalev would have made much easier work of that guy.

Depends on how Ward looks in his next fight. He still has some "rust" that needs to be knocked off.

As an American I will support SOG...but Kovalev is always referred to as a monster KO guy when in fact he's a very good boxer....I'm looking forward to this fight; it really should be a great and possibly historic LHW bout.

I dunno how you can say that, Ward put on a clinic on Barrera. It wasnt entertaining, but it was effective.

Kovalev fights straight up, it could be bad strategy against a guy like Ward who uses the ring so well.

Kovalev is a better boxer than he looks though, and has alot of power, so who the favorite is not completely clear to me.

Nope. Talk about boxing, boxing, boxing. Kovalev is a damn fine boxer. I doubt Ward and his corner will make the mistake of ignoring Krusher's boxing ability and will come up with a plan to effectively neutralize it.

I see a 12 round decision in a chess match type fight. Might even be a disappointment to those thinking they'll see knockdowns every round.

I tend to agree, Ward has a good chin as well.

He did but I think Kovalev would have put on a clinic + get him out early.

Kovalev didn't fall for any of the traps that Bernard Hopkins set.
Kovalev pretty much outsmarted Hopkins. Beat him at his own game.
It was Hopkins flinching at Kovalev's feints.
Yeah, I know that's was an ancient Hopkins, but you still have to consider the fact that many a lightheavyweights were getting schooled by the same Hopkins including Pascal.
Many in this forum picked Hopkins over Kovalev and none here were of the thinking he'd dominate Hopkins the way he did.

Having said that, quickness and speed enter into the equation.
The type of speed Kovalev has never seen before.
In turn, Ward has never faced the type of combination of calculated power like Kovalev's. Kovalev is a big lightheavyweight who uses an educated jab to set up his power and that's something that's not going to be easy for the naturally smaller Ward to deal with.

This matchup is really a pickem fight and I think the odds will reflect that once they're posted.
