It will take place November 16th. Excellent fight. How about that, the top two fighters in the sport will both have put their own "0" on the line against undefeated fighters within a few months of each other. The rest of the year is filled with good fights.

ward will win....just because you have a 0 on your record doesnt mean you have the best resumes on the record. I think Rodriguez needs a few fights with high profile guys before facing ward. just my opinion.

but who knows, he may surprise me this fight. :) or get better opposition after this fight depending on his performance.

I wonder if HBO put more money on the table or Ward agreed to share a bit more of the pot. Personally I thought HBO was overpaying for this fight, but I also thought Ward's insistence on keeping absolutely everything save $800,000 from the license fee was also excessive.

Considering Ward's been off over a year and is coming off an injury Rodriguez is a pretty solid opponent.

This fight reminds me a bit of Mayweather-Alvarez and I think it will have a simliar outcome, Rodriguez probably does a little better than Alvarez though.

Golovkin, Froch, Kovalev, Bute, Pascal, Groves, Stevenson, Cloud, and DeGale are all fighters that would worthwhile opponents for Ward now or in the near future.

HBO wants to make $$$, None of those fighters will generate revenue here in the states. IF Ward would go over seas then that is a different story.
