If you really feel that way I'm not sure I can help you. Ward wouldn't make it to the second half of the fight against Foster and that's the honest truth.
There is one thing that the creator of that video overlooks; Foster wanted guys to throw left hooks at him. The natural counter to a left hook is a left hook and Foster's hook may well be the most explosive punch in light heavy history.
SOB Ward would not be allowed to land low blows against Foster and the greats. Tony Weeks would not be there. Kovalev beat Ward two times, he beat him by decision in the first fight, then in the second fight Ward should have been disqualified for low blows if you go by the rules of boxing..................Ward can't beat a good fighter without cheating. You know it buddy. This is a case of me having the utmost respect for Foster rather than knocking Ward's boxing abilities. He simply doesn't have the tools to box at range with Foster, so I'm assuming he'd have to go into spoiler mode, similar to how he made adjustments in the first Kovalev fight. That's a one way ticket to getting your ass handed to you against possibly the hardest hitting light heavyweight of all time.
LOW BLOWS ARE ILLEGAL IN BOXING AND ALWAYS HAVE BEEN. THOSE LOW BLOWS WERE TO THE TESTICLES AND ARE ON VIDEO AND STILL PICTURES, THEY CAN'T BE DISPUTED....................WEEKS APPEARS TO BE A CROOK OR BLIND AS A BAT! This content is protected
I dont want to go into the fouls but I think the low blows were causing him problems and there did seem to be a fair few. I think constant low blows were causing problems. I really dont like it when someone rule breaks.
Kov`s trunks were high, the ref clearly said punches on the belt line would be legal, Kov has a very long trunk also.
He didn’t spend enough time up at LHW to tell us how high to rate him. In terms of SMW you have to rate Calzaghe or Ward as the two top guys in the divisions short history.
