LOL I'm not but Usyk is better than Ward in every facet. It would be a mismatch as would Ward fighting any heavyweight in the top 10.
Yeah I think Hunter has what it takes to improve and become a longtime contender in the division, he's certainly the best American CW to my eyes at this point. Better than the more hyped Tabiti. Might not be the next Steve Cunningham, but he's certainly a solid and well schooled operator.
If you really think that, fair enough, but I promise you that's not the case. Usyk has a lot going for him but I see things Ward would look to exploit.
CoWard is stronger than a 200lb CW? Usyk doesn't have shitty stamina he can go at a good pace for the whole duration. He threw 905 punches against Hunter. A CW throwing nearly 1000 punches?! And he's got an excellent chin. Find me some footage of him going down off a head shot or being badly hurt or wobbled by one. You think CoWard is going to knock him out? Usyk also has blazing fast hand speed (faster than Kovalev) and great punch variety. He's also a great combination puncher and he has a high ring IQ. He'd absolutely school Kovalev. Obviously when you're fighting CoWard it makes a big difference where you fight him and whether the ref and the judges are neutral. If it was a completely level playing field Usyk would paddle his ass. But if it was on the rigged stacked to **** playing field that the ''devout Christian'' operates on all the time where he can fight to a set of rules he penned with his own hand, I'd still pick Usyk to win because he's too big, too fast, too slick, too athletic, too tough and too talented. And CoWard has been avoiding certain styles. Usyk doesn't care which style he faces or where he has to go to face them. He doesn't need every advantage in his favour and a rigged deck.
I remember watching some clips of usyk years back thinking this guy is a machine guy has crazy stamina
Ward wins this fight. I don't think Usyk is that good. The one thing Usyk has going for him is size. But I think Ward wins this fight, maybe even stops Usyk.
Ward wins, Usyk can't punch his way through a wet paper bag. The man his cream puff punches is what I'm saying.
Yes he has a great engine His last two opponents have been awkward as hell and difficult to look good against. People conveniently ignore the fact that Mchunu is a really talented fighter, slick and very awkward, and it was his US debut and there was a lot of pressure on him to look good, no one looks good against Mchunu. This is what Eddie Chambers had to say about Mchunu Team_Chambers Only way Mchunu looses in Cruiserweights is if someone to aggressive or gets robbed overseas.. pound for pound i don't see any of those top cruiserweights beating him.. style to awkward.. & box circles possibly stop Huck Team_Chambers Thabiso Mchunu is no Novice... the dude is technical southpaw.. Reminds me of Lara.. U have to chase him down.. & my opinion the best Cruiserweight. And he fought Hunter in his country too. Hunter was a very good amateur Beat Andy Ruiz Jr. RSC-OS-3 Lost on countback (10-10) to Beterbiev Beat Oscar Rivas Beat Andrew Tabiti He has a very good chin Lost on points to SHW behemoths Tyson Fury (2-1) Islam Timurziev (massive puncher ranked #1SHW) Robert Alfonso 4x Cuban national champion
