Do you really think it's reasonable that in addition to getting the fight on home soil, Ward who is a lesser draw gets 50% AND Golovkin has to step up to his weight? Is it not reasonable for Ward, just once, to have to give a little too?

A lot of the demographic like to brush the loaded dice issue under the carpet as you have done. But to the rest of the world, it leaves massive question marks over Ward's career. If he was to beat Golovkin at catchweight or Kovalev in a rematches in Russia then it would instantly end all doubt.

Ward has an incredibly ugly and dirty style and I really dislike him, but he keeps winning despite his utter lack of athleticism or a real right hand, which deserves respect for the same reason that I respect B-Hop. Use the tools you have to win.
If his opponents can't figure a way around his wrestling and holding and hitting, then it's on them.
I do however think that referees give ward ALOT of leeway

 

Andre Ward has an amazing resume.
Gennady Golovkin has an embarrassing Resume.

Safe to say GGG needs to make concessions if he wants to be remembered throughout History. However if MONEY is all he cares about, he can keep fighting bums for 2 million a pop.

 

Golovkin's resume only appeals to the Dollar Tree shopping crowd. Those who expect no frills, no special effects and no quality. I.E., the very lowest of expectations.
