This post sums the whole Ward thing up perfectly. Team Ward wanted the fight, as long as the dice were squarely loaded in their favour and they got half the money to boot despite the other guy being the bigger box office attraction (a fight at Ward's weight with no tune ups in the USA and no doubt four American officials to boot).

But yeah thank God for Kovalev, who gave into Ward's ridiculous demands, kicked his ass then ended up with an undeserved loss, no belt and a meaningless rematch clause that Ward is refusing to honour.

I'm no massive fan of K2 but they should be applauded in this instance. Just for once, it would be good to see Ward go into a big fight without the dice massively loaded in his favour.

GG was 100% prepared to fight froch and chavez at 168. He refused point blank to face Ward despite claiming he wanted everybody from 60-68 when he burst on the scene years ago.
This was one of the worst ducks in recent memory.
His followers didn't want him to fight ward either, that's why they are fanboi casuals and not real fans of the sport

Have to agree. Double standards are a joke. GGG, his team and his little fanboys knew Ward was career suicide. All blew a sigh of relief when Ward moved on.

Are you OK? I don't think you're mentally strong enough to be on a forum tbh. This anger is not good for your health.

Yeah, 3G should have jumped up 15 pounds to face Ward when he got back. Good post, very smart comment!

I heard when you negotiate I give you unrealistic demands, you do the same to me we meet in the middle. Weight shouldn't have been an issue GGG knocks out heavyweights remember?! I'm sure that Dre would have fought him in Vegas like Kov so none of that he only fights in Oakland bs that some you keep spouting. Money shouldn't be an issue either cause neither is a draw. Also GGG offered 164, not 168 he offered 168 to everyone but Ward. GGG ducked Ward like Manny ducked Floyd because "he's afraid of needles"

I'd sooner get angry at a 6yo then get angry at total morons. You see, for your posts to anger me, they have to have meaning to me, they simply don't because you aren't someone to take serious.

To be a ward fan you have to have something in common with him to be a fan because it's not his boxing ability and he just got beaten and dropped badly.
