i think both fighters have about equal resumes, maybe with bute fighting 1 or 2 more skilled fighters than ward, but he also has a few more fights under his belt. i would put ward as a more natural fighter talent, where as bute has alot of talent he is extremely hard working and follows his game plan to a T...i would have bute winning in a split descision on neutral territory. id like to see ward vs bika, i find bika to be an overall solid fighter with good power/speed ratio, hes a bit sloppy with wild punched at times, but i think he would be a good opponent of ward i think the styles might match up good. right now bute has a better resume than ward(id like to se how ward does against "iron chin" andrade) all that said, after the super6 ward WILL have a better resume than bute(if he wins), so that means that either bute has to step up in opponent choice, or move up to 175 to face better opponents(not availible now at 168) and then discuss a catch wieght to fight ward in if he does not move up as well
Until now, it has worked very well for him. I was just pointing that he doesn't have it all, like a poster was saying. No one has it all. Bute has to work on his inside game, for example.
Why does Ward have to go to Canada??? If he wins the Super 6 he's clearly the top guy in the division. Bute has no right to make demands about where the fight should take place.atsch
money talks, BS walks the fight will take place where ever the fighter who puts up the most $$,....obviously they have to come to contrractual agreements the fight would most likely take place where ever the promoters see themselves making the most money and gather the biggest crowd
Garbage post! Absolute garbage. Bute has become one of the most overrated fighters on ESB. Ward is far too intelligent, versatile, and adaptable for Bute. :smoke
Nobody's ducking anyone... They both would love to face each other and if they don't it's certainly not because of the fighters, but rather networks getting in the way or possibly GOOSEN and INTERBOX acting like little bitches...that's all.
Future P4P #1 ?? Let's take it easy a little on Ward now... He seems like the goods but still has a lot to prove against much more than a motionless Green + a faded & rusty Kessler...
