    I have noticed that as well. A well timed upercut and is game over for Ward.

    And Green even got clearly beaten by 168's favorite punchbag Miranda... Think that says it all. Green just doesn't count.

    Bute is mentally fragile and would cave under the pressure Ward brings. Froch won't.

    Froch is a very awkward fighter. He can beat Ward and Bute in certain circumstances and in equal measure he can be beaten by both.
    I will never bet my money on Froch fights, nor in his favor or against him. :hat

    Froch is actually a very good counterpuncher and Ward does tend to lunge in at times. Froch has one of the most sneakiest and spiteful uppercuts in the game. Ward can't be thinking about Bute. Froch is a harder fight for him than Bute.

    Because his uppercut does not work with skilled fighters.
    For example it worked with Johnson and it did not worked with Kessler.
    In my opinion his weapons are his awkward jab and overhead hook.

    Bute is scared of Froch and Ward. Ward wide UD imo.

    One of the few sensible posts on this thread.

    Ward vs Bute is unlikely to be a one-sided affair, either way. Personally I favor Ward by a whisker. However, the poster that claims Bute has slow hands is an idiot. His handspeed is plenty quick enough.

    Ward is not going to win this by easy pot-shotting UD. Bute will not bum rush Ward head-first and be open to jabs/combinations all night long a la Abraham/Kessler.

    Ward is going to have to accept getting tagged by a powerful Bute if he wants to get his shots in, and it's unlikely that his shots will make Bute think twice.

    I think there's a 75% chance this fight goes to a close decision and a 25% chance that it finishes with a KO. If it goes to a decision 60-40 for ward. If it finishes by KO, 90-10 for Bute.

    So...

    Ward : 0.75*0.6 + 0.25*0.1 = 47.5%
    Bute = 52.5%

    Making Bute an 11-to-10 favorite in my book. :think
