I'd love to see Ward v Bute so I voted for that...but I really can't see it happening, Ward seemed to avoid the question which was interesting. I'd imagine a somewhat easier opponent, someone like Adonis Stevenson or even Magee...or a big shot name...Johnson maybe (he seems to be passed around to beat up now a days.

Bute will duck Ward and target Froch.

I think he'll take a break, which is well deserved. Probably a bull**** mandatory or something.

Truth is, Bute needs to be something to earn the fight other be the "non-Super Six guy." His resume is a joke compared with Ward's, so he ought to be someone world class before thinking he's going to get Ward.

    Hmm
Interesting point of views. Hard to think any of you think Bute's resume isnt enough. He is a proven champion and draws very large crowds. So except for a rematch with Froch there isnt another fight that comes close to the $ he can make from fighting Bute.

I agree that Dirrel isn't mentally fit to do the job.
He should have KO'd Froch but didn't have it in him. I highly doubt Ward will fight Dirrel as they didnt before. Should have been the first round of the SS.

Johnson. I also doubt that. To much of a risk vs payout.
SO it probably will be someone else. Who I dont know.

The palm pushing head up forearm routine - not illegal if ref doesn't call it.

With Ward saying he will not fight Bute and IF the deal with Froch is in.
Unless Froch gets KO'd we get 2 fights. Will be interesting to watch. So at least someone will be keeping 168 alive.

I think he will offer Kwitsler a rematch, but I think Kwitsler will hide.

If he does, it should be in Denmark.

    Can't see Andre going there.

He deserves an "easy" payday after the s6. If antony dirrell is the WBC mandatory then I wouldnt have a problem with that fight.

Hopefully Ward fights twice next year with the 2nd fight being Bute.

Bute already signed to fight Froch so Ward is gonna have to fight somebody else. I think he's gonna vacate the WBC and let Anthony Dirrell fight somebody else for it. He's probably gonna take some time off and weigh in his options.

Ward's problem is not that Bute doesn't deserve a shot, his problem is that he knows Lucian Bute can take advantage of this so called undeserved shot and steal the meal right from under his nose. Let's get real please. If you are absolutely sure you will win a fight, than you go, beat Bute and take the money. You certainly don't look for excuses.

    Hope Bute

but its ok if he wants an easy fight for an Oakland homecoming

but Bute must be within his next 2 fights
