Froch vs Direll is in Nottingham. Massive advantage in terms of support for Froch, it gets crazy in Trent Arena when he fights. Direll will be beaten before Froch even lays a glove on him. 9000 people chanting who the f*ck are you must get a little disconcerting!

you're right. Froch would probably have lost against Pascal if they had fought on neutral ground. Having the fight in Nottingham was a huge advantage.

Skill wise, Ward is better than Kessler. Honestly, skill wise Ward is better than anyone in the tournament.

 

Although the Nottingham factor would be huge for Froch - remember what he did against Taylor. He had next to 0 support, in Taylor's backyard, and had noone watching at home. He was on his own then - and came back to win that.
