Close fights warrant rematches, controversial decisons warrant reamtches, fights stopped due to unseen circumstances(cuts,injuries whatever) warrant rematches...this was not the case in this one.

Some of you talk and act as if Froch actually is somehow a victor in this situation and Ward needs to prove something. At no point do i hear how and why Carl Froch is now capable of beating Ward. Never do i hear about improvement in Froch's game or decline in Wards game as being the reason why Froch can now beat him and NEEDS to travel to Nottingham in order to validate himself. it seems that you are banking on a Dirrell or BS stoppage situation.

Since you complain about the ref somehow helping Ward along(as if Froch is this model citizen when it comes to fighting clean)i ask what happens if Ward lands on one of Hatton's old ref'sdeal) on that "what if" night in Nottingham.

One need only watch a highlight vid of Hatton's or Calzaghe's UK career's to see that brits are in no place to ***** about refs.:smooch

one of Hattons old refs? what the hell are you talking about now? the only fight people have a problem with is the Tszyu fight. yeah, it got a bit rough. yeah, Hatton stayed right on his chest. but it was within the rules. Hatton is a come forward pressure fighter, so it's going to be rough when you're fighting a machine like Tszyu.

refs in this country don't tend to let a slaughter continue if there is no way of coming back in the fight.
what's the point of letting someone take lots of shots with them being outclassed? let them fight another day.
