Ward would be a fool to ever fight in the UK after that despicable stoppage!

Howard Foster as ref +Dave Parris & Terry O'Conner as judges= Guaranteed win for Froch.

To be fair to Froch, he probably would, Hearn on the other hand won't want it to happen because he knows Ward would box Froch's head off even worse this time, unless it's Froch's last fight and he wants to cash out. Plus if the the fight was to happen in the UK, it would also be a lot harder to rob Ward than it was Groves, given that Groves was a big under dog and not that well known whereas Ward is a high profile P4P fighter who has already schooled Froch.

I wonder if the ref was really paid off? I mean, that wasn't even close to warrant a stoppage.

This is what the Ward haters were banking on all along.

Never did they mention any reason why Froch would win a second time around(Froch got better, improved game, Ward showing signs of slowing or being vulnerable ect...) they are simply banking on a BS ref stoppage or a Dirrell type decision in Nottingham.

Ward-Froch was NOT close. Watch the fight instead of reading the scores on boxrec.

Ward beats Froch anywhere in the world, all week and twice on Sunday.

That said, the Ward-Bika scorecards were fukkin terrible. Just terrible. Ward won that fight 7-5, maaaaybe 8-4, but not 12-0 or 10-2. No fukkin way.

Good call on the Ward-Bika fight. It was definitely wider than 7-5 on my card (forget if I had 8-4 or 9-3), but the 12-0 card seemed way too wide in his favor.

I dont think Ward would fight froch in the UK anyway and Froch is an old slow limited SMW that pushed Ward.
Ward was in a competition where all of the original names fought away except Ward.
I expect Ward has a good team around him that may not have wanted him to take the chance.
Still lets not forget that American and American based fighters dont seem to be able to win big fights at SMW when fighting in Europe.
Consider how Lacy, Dirrell, J Taylor, Mitchell, Brewer etc all were beaten in Europe

    In Europe
Dirrell, Andrade, Green, Lucas, Lacy, Manfredo, Pudwill, McIntyre, Jimenez, Sheika, Brewer, Mitchell, Schommer, Holmes, Close (I said based in America), Thornton, Essett, Jarvis, McClellan, Perez, Gatti (not Arturo), Tate, Butler, G Johnson, Hernandez, Bryan, Mack
    Lost in Europe
This just gives an idea and most of those were top 10 and world rated and some fought in Europe more than once.

So no, I doubt Ward would dare travel to Europe for a big fight.
His team possibly looked at how these fighters freeze when in the lions den.
I dont think you need to use the ref stopping Groves as an excuse, Ward didnt travel when everyone else did in a competition

Rewatched it before dinner tonight, gave it to Ward 8-4. Rounds 7 to 10 were close, that's how most of the fans' scorecards got to be different from one another.

Did you ever watch this after Bute got smoked? 0:38?
