so that's not an irrelevant post of mine because it supports your agenda. but one I made that doesn't support your agenda IS irrelevant to you. you are so self contradictory, you don't have a clue how failey biased you are to everyone.
Hopkins wasn't a world champion. He lost his titles to Jermain Taylor who was blasted out by Froch. Mitchell wasn't a champ. Joe fought him after he had just lost to Ottke. Brewer wasn't a champ either. He was coming off a 3rd round stoppage loss to Echoles and Ottke as well. Woodhall came off a loss to Marcus Beyer and was at the end of his career. Reid wasn't a champ either. He lost to Maliniga , then beat unknown Graham Townsend in an eight rounder to be qualified as an opponent Calzaghe, and almost beat him mind. Roy Jones Jr lost all his titles to Tarver 4 years earlier.
Calzaghe would have outworked, outlanded and outboxed Ward. There is even a chance that he cracks Wards glass mandible.
Toss up: both great fighters. If Ward could neutralize Calzaghe's punch output, he could outpoint him with precision punching. If he struggled keeping Calzaghe's punch volume down he would likely get outpointed himself. Neither would have the power to seriously threaten the other. It would be interesting to see how Ward handled the freneticism of Calzaghe: twelve rounds of relentless punching (slapping some would say). He might adapt well, or might get frustrated and worn out by the last third of the fight. Impossible to say. Each would be the other's toughest fight. I'm confident of that.
and lacey was a paper champ, though credit to joe for manning up finally at the end of his career to fight him and capture one of the big three titles. joe did it in style too, making lacy look every inch as bad as he was. so that leaves mikkel Kessler. credit to joe for manning up to fight someone world quality in his last fight of his smw career. better late than never, and no rematch for the injured Kessler mind you.
Bring up the post that was to another poster and I will explain it for you, if you are unable to understand, but stop the irrelevant waffle in the meantime. Thank you
Try what again? Kessler was a very good fighter, Calzaghe beat him when he was prime. Froch went 1-1 with Kessler, a semi retired Kessler who is Froch's best win. Ward dominated a slipping Kessler and was allowed to get away with the most blatant and dirty tactics I've ever seen. Again it's between Kessler and Froch who's awards best win. Fact is Froch is a warrior for beating Kessler, it's a great win for award yet Joe beat the best version we've seen, more clinical than Froch did and the wins just meh Get to f u c k!
Prime Calzaghe had more power. I dont believe Ward would be better than Eubank and not convinced better than undefeated Kessler or lacy at that, as it seems a weaker era and we have only seen Ward against higher rated fighters previously beaten and not tested against top prime undefeated fighters or away from home in big fights
Lets look at this prime for prime Power Calzaghe Speed Calzaghe Ability Calzaghe Chin Calzaghe Stamina Calzaghe Now resume Calzaghe Ward fights Calzaghes leftovers Prime Calzaghe very easily dominates and stops Ward, old end of career Calzaghe very easily dominates and stops Ward Calzaghe
