Good I don't agree with the majority that Wardley shouldn't take a rematch or that he should retire.

He had Dubois down twice and if he would've landed a few more notable punches he could've got Dubois out of there.

Wardley had no gameplan after the early knockdown he got too excited and started swinging wildly and wore himself out after 4-5 rounds.

If Wardley fights a bit smarter like setting up the right hand behind the jab and not swinging hoping for the best.

He can definitely beat Dubois who I'm still not totally sold on.

The only question is if Wardley's punch resistance has been effected which we will have to wait and see.

This will be Wardley's Joyce vs Zhang moment.

DDD properly KO's him this time.

I feel the only way Wardley wins this is if he gets Dubois out of there early. Its very possible, he's shown he can hurt and drop him on multiple occasions. Its a pretty fast shot - the right straight.

But, I think that Dubois has probably figured Wardley out. Despite the knockdowns, I thought he did well to anticipate and evade the right hand on many occasions. However, the jab from Dubois is a big problem, let alone the roughness leading to subtle headbutts.

In the rematch, if the exact same sequence occurs - they'll have to stop the fight around the 7th round.

Dubois evaded the right hands easily because they were telegraphed and wild.

There was no plan of attack from Wardley in regards to setting up the right hand behind the jab or trying anything different to keep Dubois guessing.

Wardley doesn't need to go all out guns blazing hoping to finish Dubois in the first 3 rounds.

That was his problem in their previous fight and he gassed out after 4 or 5 rounds.

Wardley just needs to be a bit more savvy and set up the right hand better and he could get a stoppage in the middle rounds.

Dubois is going to be the favourite of course as he should be. But I feel like if Wardley makes some changes its a winnable fight for him.

They were telegraphed and wild, but I thought they were pretty quick shots that I didn't expect Dubois to slip as often.

The jab is a big problem for Wardley, he needs to find a way to deal with it.

Either Wardley gets him early or Dubois ends Wardley’s career

The Binman beats the living daylights out of him and then puts his lights out again.

Wardley needs to go back to the drawing board for this one; strategically, if nothing changes then Dubois will only stop him quicker this time. Wardley will need to actually utilise his left hand next time, and he needs to stop throwing telegraphed wild right hands from the other side of the ring, which after a few rounds Dubois could see coming a mile away.

First I don't think rematch clauses should be legal but more importantly, commissions should have medical veto to block any post-beatodwn rematch. The first fight left major damage, the second guarantees permanent.

And even if Wardley wins and this gets quoted, did he deserve a rematch after a brutal beatdown as was the rematch good for his health? No, no and no, he'll likely not win.

So when is this going to be? Wardley should take some time to heal first and then train again.

Hopefully the criticizm after the previous fight has davidson or the ref pull wardley out of the fight quicker next time.

Many fighters have to be saved from themselves.

Think I've seen they are looking at November time. Which I guess is OK. How much time do you need to recover?
Wardley can hurt DD we have seen that but once DD started avoiding the wide right hand, he took over the fight Wardley needs something else. Can he find it? Power, durability are really good but I think its the need to make those adjustments where he looked to fall short. 6 months isn't enough time to learn that I don't think.

DD got put down but got put up and landed some brutal punches (and took a few more himself). He proved a few people wrong again and his big shots kept landing.

It's advantage Dubois at this point.

Wardley's chance of winning increases by 1% if he dumps Davison and hires a proper trainer.
