When he fought Fury, it was like an FA Cup Tie between Liverpool and Havant & Waterlooville reserves. British level at best and levels below the top boys.
This is how I'm seeing it. Clarke is the tidier boxer and puts nice shots together but doesn't seem to shift through the gears whilst Fabio is the heavier handed man that is explosive when he lets his hands go. So I'm fancying Wardley to stop Clark also but it is a very good domestic fight, best of luck to the pair of them.
Slightly favouring Wardley, I know Clarke has the amateur pedigree but I just haven't seen anything special from him in the pros. Intriguing fight though, no outcome would surprise me. Decent looking card overall with a a couple of good 50/50s included - I'm half tempted to go, its saying over 10k tickets sold so far so the place should be rocking - but the trains are not running and not sure I fancy the headache drive to London.
“I’m also leaning towards Wardley on this one. It does seem like an evenly matched bout that could really go either way. As for the undercard, it’s disappointing when it doesn’t live up to expectations, but let’s hope the main event makes up for it!”
I hope I'm wrong, but unfortunately I don't believe the main event will live up to expectations. I really hope Big Fraze and Wardley will prove me wrong
I might put a smaller wager on Wardley for the stoppage. Not impressed at all with big Fraiser to be honest
If Fraz can pick his moments he can counter Wardleys wide punching and outpount him. Will depend on how effective Fraz is at Boxing smart and how he can navigate the storm. If I had to pick I'd go wardley but its by no means a given. Also it's 12 rds. wardley cant afford to put too much in early on
I have the strong feeling that Wardley will not have much trouble to land bombs... Clarke can box well but he just comes across as a guy that is less athletic and a bit clumsy. Dave Allen did not - when he conviced himself he can still throw a punch - have trouble landing jabs and overhand rights. That should be telling enough really. Most likely Wardley will wear him down and finish him between 5 and 8.
