    Ok.

Im putting this one out there.

No ****ing way Ward went INTO the fight with a broken hand, I dont care if fat ass Doughnut Dick Dan Rafael said so, he can go suck a fat one for all i care.

Its not true, dont buy into it.

If Ward was such a warrior that he could fight Carl Froch with a broken hand then why the **** did he have to push back the original fight date by a month beacuse of a shitty little cut!?

He said it himself - he wants to be in peak condition when he fights, broken hand/fracture IS NOT PEAK CONDITION AND PEOPLE DONT FIGHT WITH A BROKEN HAND - EVEN IF YOU ARE AMERICAN.

    stop with the bull****.

Ward schooled Froch, yes we all know this, but not with a broken hand. He could of done it during the fight - fair enough, but HE WOULDNT GO INTO A FIGHT OF THAT MAGNITUDE WITH A BROKEN HAND.

Does it matter? He clearly won the fight, and he clearly has a broken hand, which was likely sore going into the fight and he broke it around the sixth round. I could be mistaken, but I thought that was what Ward said, sixth round on was messed up pretty bad.

Well, he never said it was broken before. He said it was injured and xrays showed it did not appear to be broken.

What's the point? Either way, he beat Froch, easily, with a broken hand. Probably shows just as much that Froch really is just not that good. Certainly not in Ward's class.

All that matters is he was in the fight with a broken hand. Whether he broke it before or during or how severe it was doesn't really matter. Your ***** ass wouldn't fight Froch with two healthy hands and brass knuckles

They'll stop a fight for a cut. Does that really need to be pointed out?

I happened to catch the same Sunday night flight that ward and his family headed back to the bay area on after the fight (thats where im from). I was lucky enough to practically sit next to him. Man was in good but tired spirits, and when he put his overhead bag up I was shocked at how his hand looked the entire hand looked like a ****in balloon, and if didn't know he was a boxer I would think he had like a weird tumor or disfiguration.

    Definitly broken

Why would Ward lie? What does he have to gain? He won the fight by wide margins.

And you stop punching with a broken hand.

Good for you for not buying the **** they are putting out there.:good

I found it distasteful to say the least, how Ward and Co. are now basically lying and saying/implying that even though the first tests were negative, the hand "must have" been broken all along (before the fight.)

Prob half of all fighers, fight with bad hands!

Was one of the reasons ALi needed a dr all the time (Pacheco). Needed cortisone injections before each fight to cut down the swelling and pain.
And many a fighter broke something during a fight w.o. later claiming it was broken before the fight.

And I saw the swelling pic and it was relatively mild.
