It is fractured yes. AFTER THE FIGHT.:patsch
As a direct result of landing some 60 left hooks and 100 jabs to froches slow moving granite chin.:patsch

    Not before.....:patsch

You got to ask urself if Ward fought the way he did for the last 4? How could it of ended?:think

It would of been closer thats for sure.:deal

Hope he gives his hand plenty of time to heal.

He also might consider finding someone else to wrap his hands. I'm sure he's too loyal for that though.

half of fighters end up with a hand or 2 like that after a long fight.

And swelling alone does not imply a break.
But will trust Ward in that tests showed it was broken AFTER the fight, not before, as they are trying to morph this into.

In a recent victory in MMA, Dominic Cruz fought for 25 minutes with a far worse broken hand and never even mentioned it in the press conference! (Photo after surgery which was needed.)

    http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/blog/ca...aks-hand-in-victory-Dana-White?urn=mma-wp7678

"Following the UFC on Versus 6 postfight press conference, his boss Dana White informed the media that the UFC's bantamweight champ had suffered a broken hand during the fight. Cruz fought for 25 minutes and then went through the press conference at Verizon Center, and made no mention of an injury.

"You know one of the things I respect about the kid?" White said. "He's got a broken hand and had one the entire fight. He broke his (left) hand and is going to have surgery. Not only did he not stop fighting and keep coming up 100 percent, he doesn't even [expletive] say anything about it."

    Exactly.

Cut opens up, ref stops fight, Ward loses.

Hand gets broken worse, ref has no clue, Ward can still keep fighting.

    Seriously......

Kessler broke his right hand some three weeks before Calzaghe so he couldnt even spar. And that fight was bigger than the s6 final.
