I'm as frustrated as anybody else. But for one reason or another, he's hardly fought in the last four years, so these types of fights are to be expected. When he fought Smith, it was the first time he'd fought in 19 months. So I don't care who he's fighting next, because I'm just glad that he's resumed his career. If the reports of his 3 fight HBO deal that will lead to Kovalev are true, then these tune ups won't matter. Without these kind of fights beforehand, a Kovalev fight would never happen. So instead of criticising him, people should just see it as a step closer to a bigger fight. Just let him get on with it.
