He doesn't have to say it, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, he couldn't make it for Smith and now he's signed up to LHW.

GGG talk was a publicity stunt, offering him to sign for a fight at the end of 2016 a year down the line? that's not a serious offer, just one made for PR purposes.

I'll believe it when I see it.

He better avoid Gvozdyk, Yunieski, Shabranskyy, and Barrera like the plague or he might not make it to Kovalev.

He'll probably end up facing Kalajdzic, Monaghan, or Cleverly.:patsch

K2 said they would promote and FINANCE a fight at 164.

They also said they would be open to minimum offers from ROC for fights at 166 and 168 providing ROC footed the bill.:patsch:patsch:patsch

    Exactly!
and for good measure, just in case Ward did accept that, K2 threw in the 60/40 split, no rematch, and probably wanted to select the ref and judges too.

Little g really didn't want Ward to knock him off his miniature pony.

Avoid Yunieski, Shab and Barrera, but it's ok to face Beterbiev, right? :!:

Cracks me up too. Even his die hard fans can't post about him without mentioning GGG, even if the news has nothing to do with Golovkin.

Well, the article confirmed it. Ward is straight up afraid to face
KOvalev and it also shows how overrated Ward has always been.
His homeboy base has been fooled but no aficianados have him
in their top 10 p4p. KOvalev KO's Ward now or in a year anyway and
    everyone who's impartial knows this.

He's not an option due to Beterbiev being with Haymon, so no point bringing it up.

I wish they'd cancel the Kovalev-Pascal rematch, make Ward-Pascal, and let Kovalev face Seanie Monaghan, because I'd really like to see Kovalev knock him out.:deal

I doubt Ward would face Pascal next either. He wants 2 fights
before KOvalev and Pascal would be too big a step up in WArd's
    1st tune-up.

 He'll probably face Alexander Johnson and Will Rosinsky as his warm ups.:patsch

If he fights them and beats Kovalev, who cares?

I do, I want to see him actually face someone with a pulse and earn his shot against Kovalev, he hasn't done a damn thing in almost 3 years, Kovalev should be higher in the P4P rankings than he is.

    And he's not beating Kovalev.

Agreed, but Ward is a massive diva. Put a crown on his damn head.

If anybody can actually get him in the ring with Kovalev within the next 1-2 years, do it.
