gonna have to take CSTs words with a grain of salt here...this is the same guy that was challenged by me to a fun/simple ban/avy bet after claiming ward was going to be mangled by krusher....not only was he not mangled but he also managed to win.....you have to understand were dealing with alot of NaCl here

 

Ward's face was busted up but someone's face being busted up isn't an indication that they lost.
Some boxers cut easily, i.e Napoles. Lomachenko marks up easily.
Besides, it doesn't matter who beat up who more, it's ultimately a boxing match. Cotto beat Mayweather up proper but Mayweather won 9-3.

 

I just don't see how these guys say they are fans of the sport. It was a close fight regardless of who you think won the bout. I think you can make a case for either man, or a draw. Hardly a robbery, and it looks like a rematch is imminent.

I would think we as fans, should be excited about the rematch and another great matchup between these two excellent champions. That's where my opinion is currently: This was one of the best match ups I've seen in a long time, very evenly matched, and I look forward to the rematch. Everybody who watched that fight should have been thinking "They need to rematch" before the final bell sounded. If Kovalev won, I'd still say the same thing: rematch needs to happen. Personally, I felt it was a draw, but I can't argue with a point in favor of either man either.

They "should" be excited about the rematch and keep the conversation there. Just IMO.

If you want to talk "robbery," examine the 3rd undercard fight. Now THOSE scorecards were atrocious. Far better example.

 

thats how i feel....if ward lost i wouldnt be claiming robbery..id be claiming myself wrong.....but these guys wont accept it...because their internet "ego" its tied to it....thats why they excuse golovkin for avoiding ward .....his records is tied to them being able to come here and talk garbage......

these are the same guys that ran a guys name through the mud, miguel cotto, because he wouldnt give ggg a free lunch...cotto being a HOF welterweight who took big/great fights and always gave it his all

 

I don't see how after watching Kovalev vs Ward that anybody with sense would think GGG would do well against either man. Add in the obvious factor as well: GGG would have to move up TWO divisions. Generally doesn't end well for the guy moving up.

 

like ive mentioned before...these guys will claim this is proof ggg would beat ward....the minute a boxing scribe or fighter suggest that he actually fight ward they will cry "ward too big man not fair"

 

when did anyone say ward won "convincingly"? ....see this is typical...change the narrative and put words in mouths....many have said it was close and could have gone either way....it warrants a rematch for certain...it was a good, close, fight......its just some of us can accept the result and give respect......and theres females like you making every excuse in the book as to why your prediction didnt come true

i think a rematch in russia with russian referees is only fair, then the decider can be in a neutral country

 

another clown making things up...ive never made any direct, negative, threads about kovalev....i respect kova and always have....and in fact, after this fight, he has my respect more than he did before it.....

mods ban me because they cant handle reality...CST is a classic example in this thread right here......he cant handle reality...he banned me last week cause i called him out and made him look like the coward he is...now he cant even own up to his prediction being wrong

I would agree with you except for the fact Vegas is the capital of the boxing world. It's going to happen in Vegas again. I'd be surprised if it's anywhere else.
