The ref should've been more strict with Ward from the start but DQ'ing him would be harsh imo. He whipped Kessler and there's no getting away from it. I think he'll whip everyone else in the super 6 as well.
If he fights Dirrell it'll resemble Hopkins/Holmes.

 

Disgusting, if the roles had been reversed Kessler would've been DQ'd and most likely suspended. The corruption in the US makes me sick.

Its not a ****ing question about who was winning, it is more of a question on when headbutting becomes a little more than intentional, no question Ward was winning but no fighter should have to endure illegal tactics.

 

If you know anything about boxing ..that was not an illegal headbutt...there's also a term call unintentional headbutt which cannot DQ a fighter ...check the rule book ...and also why didn't he complain.

I think his point was that the headbutt was intentional, thus making it an illegal action.
