nah. his sublime, still growing skill set will see him through any trials set before him. who do you see being able to knock him out between 168-175?

I think this chin stuff is you guys just HOPING Ward has a bad chin. After all, Froch hit him after the bell in their fight and he didn't even flinch.

But good luck with all that straw grasping.

i think his power is underated and he got caught once vs darnell boone that i know of. so i think both those statements are false.

if you think ward is feather fisted then you are sadly mistaking. he's not in the magic man and desert storm hitting class. ward can hit hard when he wants to.

He may not have KO power but still has enough to keep opponents off him.

I as a Ward fan, admit he is in a weak era and not had top undefeated SMWs to test himself against, but he is the #1 of what is existing. If he had of got Bute, he would have a top undefeated name on his resume, but Bute losing to Froch who lost to a faded Kessler said it all about whats around.
So Ward is safe at this time and Dawson is very overrated and will lose very clearly to Ward.

I'm not a Ward fan at all, but his chin is solid, and while he lacks in the power department, that's nP if you're sublime in almost every other category like speed, skill, footwork, stamina, hometown ref, etc.

He schooled Froch 3000 miles away from Oakland.

Watching the fight, one could hardly call it a "hometown advantage" for Ward.

Right. Froch lost all that "bravado" ****, after Ward tapped on that beak a few times. He really couldn't miss it.:lol:

And that was with a broken hand.
