also according to reports it was a very close fight.

Kova has shown some glass tendencies aswell. Isn't the popular myth that GGG would buttfugg him in sparring where dude would almost cry? According to "Fable" Sanchez... when he trained Krusher.

 

Ward's chin is fine, Boone is about the only guy who ever had him down and hurt.

If Ward gets KO'ed, it will be because of the enormous power of the Krusher.

 

I see this fight going as Kov vs Bhop fight as soon as Ward feels the first right from Kova. Yeah, you could say it could be like the Froch match up but Kov brings so much more to the table than Froch, power wise and boxing.

Ward will have to be very careful. I think the game plan will be to use combination of outside boxing and inside roughhousing (Andre is good at playing dirty). He can not trade with Kov mid range for more than 1-2, maybe 3, otherwise he will get clipped.

Kovalev has a worse chin than Ward. I don't recall Ward getting knocked cold in the AMs wearing headgear by pillow gloves.

 

I don't recall Kovalev doing the chicken dance against a feather fisted journeyman like Kenny Kost.

 

Power wise yes but Kovalev doesn't have better boxing skills than Froch. Froch way less predictable, with better punch variety. Kovalev too reliant on the jab/straight, Ward will have a field day.
