mate hes already ten times more popular than Ward will ever be

there's a strong argument for him being the second most talked about figher on the planet

I know GGG fans will not like this, but Ward beats GGG. And GGG team knows it.

A lot of truth in what Hunter is saying in there.

I don't get why he mentions Rosado and Adama though. We know those aren't career defining wins (at least to the sensible people). I would imagine Ward would walk through them. That's not really saying much in favor of Ward.

It doesn't work like that. If Golovkin establishes himself as the middleweight champion of the world, he is on the same terms with Ward. At least in theory.

With that being said, Golovkin's trainer sounds ridiculous talking about some "star power" while Ward is the 168 champion and GGG is a titleholder at 160. But now looks like that Ward's guy is acting like a clown as well.

The public doesn't know who either fighter is, neither man is a star.

Golovkin is a terrific fighter and clearly a harder puncher than Ward. However, there's no doubt that his KO ratio would go down if he was fighting higher caliber fighters. That's not a knock on the guy, it's just reality.

Depends on how superior GGG looks vs his opposition. I don't think the guys at SMW were all that special either but because Ward looked a level above them you could tell he was great.

Please, Bika would knock Quillin's head off, Quillin is trash.

I'm a fan of both Ward & Golovkin but I agree Ward would have more KO's if he fought weaker opponents, but in saying that I still think Golovkin could KO top level fighters.

froch and Kessler (that ward fought) are better than anything MW has to offer GGG (behind Martinez) IMO
