    Why won't GG fight Ward? That is a fight I think that he can win. I gues GG and his people don't think so.

    Are you talking about the same Cotto who got out-boxed by Austin Trout?

    LOL...

    If Martinez beats Cotto all that proves is a good middleweight beats a good welterweight - something we already know.

    Martinez is *39* years old, has looked like absolute **** in his last couple of fights and is coming off multiple serious injuries. If you think that Golovkin beating the current version of Martinez is better than Ward's win over Froch or Dawson then YDKSAB.

    Leave the Heroin alone...

    Martinez can salvage the 'dawson win' for ward to a point, but i'm VERY skeptical that he can reclaim past form, especially how he's struggled against fringe MW's inbetween injury

    So now that Martinez/GGG is looking more and more likely to happen, we see the excuses already starting.

    Now winning the lineal MW Championship from Sergio isn't even enough for poor GGG.

    Still better than Froch and an even weaker version of the Chad Dawson that got flattened in a round by Stevenson. Martinez is still ranked as the best MW and is still ranked higher p4p than Froch was for a reason. Martinez may not have looked great but at least he won. Froch LOST to Kessler and looked **** against Dirrell and Taylor before Ward fought him.

    Beating Martinez > any of Ward's wins.

    Lady Nay is just getting cold feet again.

    Martinez is the lineal MW Champion and would likely top any one on Ward's resume. It would make Ward/GGG a true superfight between Champions if it were to happen.

    How about Ward come to 160? It's only 8 pounds, Dawson drained himself down to 168, surely Ward can make 160.

    GGG has network backing and notoriety (which means something), but it's ward's playing field until GGG takes over from martinez
