100% 2 sides to every story. I would say that the most important part of the article is the fact that Joe apparently slagged of Warren first. If all of the article is true then Warrnen did well to hold his tounge so well till now. I'm a bit disapointed that Joe slagged of Warren for getting him where he is today. Although he could have done better, he has'nt done half bad lol. Neither men should be complaining really.
I believe him. Some of the stuff he's saying here he said exactly the same word by word in Joe's documentary "No average Joe" and that was when he was with Arum, right after the Lacy fight I think.
I believe him too. For all his faults Warren isn't the type to make stuff up - sounds like Calslappy is just as big a **** out of the ring as he is in it, and the rumours about him dropping Warren to avoid Pavlik are true. What a surprise eh?
I might get flamed for this but Warren seems like a likable person in that article. Hamed admitted his worst mistake was leaving Warren. Now I hate the handpicking he does for his fighters but they do get paid.
There are so many calzaghe haters on this forum that they start riding Frank Warrens **** off all people. Its laughable
Calzaghe saw what Hatton earned from promoting his own fight (vs. Lascano) and dropped Warren so he wouldn't have to pay him promoters fees, who he fought next didn't reallt matter. He would have fought Pavlik if he'd have gotten the same money thats he's getting for a Jones fight.
Warren is ****, HE IS NOT THE ONE FIGHTING, he has become a multi millionare out of boxing and never been inside the ring, I hate promoters who think the world owes them a faviour.
Yeah cos Joe has a long and distinguished history of taking on big challenges regardless of the money right atsch I believe Hatton and Joe both dropped Warren for their own reasons, only difference is that Hattons was to do with owning his own career, Calslappys was because he didn't want to be matched with any more monsters. Warren says as much in that interview.
