Warren blasts no show Haye!

What it doesnt tell you is that they changed the press conference 1 day before it was originally planned. Id be a little pissed too.

I actually agree with Warren on this one, it was a stupid move by Haye, he should be doing everything possible to build interest in this fight.

 

Frank Warren's the promoter, he should be doing everything possible to build interest.

That would include not pissing off the fighters by changing the times of the press conference. Then they might both turn up.

 

Warren should be overjoyed, it gives him something to grumble and grouse about for today.

 

One fighter made it didn't he? The change was about two hours earlier from 4pm to 2pm, Haye was worried that he wouldn't look "fresh" for the conference at two gimme a ****ing break. Warren is the promoter but the fighters also play a huge role in promoting as well, it's in their best interest to do so.

 

Poor guy, how dare they **** with a millionaires sleep schedule like that.

 

Due to the fight being on late for US coverage he will have to have adapted his sleep pattern.

Exactly.:good If the fighters have to get out there and do a song and dance to promote the fight, what the hell do you need the promoter for? Promoters in general get easy money b/c if they have two name fighters then the fight sells itself leaving them with an easier payday than PBF DLH II

 

I agree Warren is an arsehole, but this was a primadonna move by Haye, especially when his opponent made the time.
Everybody has sleep patterns, and occasionally they are disrupted, it is not as big a deal as Haye is making it out to be.

 

Warren did it just to **** Haye off and it didn't work as he just didn't turn up
