Kell is so deluded it's borderline silly.

Kell would last for as long as Manny would want him to last.

 

You wonder how he can even keep a straight face when he comes out with stuff like that.

 

I think Warren just makes sure he gets his version of things out first and loudest and hopes that carries the day.

Frank, fighters want to fight. They might not minding being bitches for a couple of fights but generally they want to earn money in good fights against good opponents. As soon as they are big enough, they will leave you. Stop babying your fighter unless you think they are good enough.

Look at their records and you can see who Frank has faith in. Faith in Naseem, no faith in Hatton. Faith in DeGale, but no faith in others.

 

Well, exactly. He hasn't been given any mid level opponents, he's supposed to jump straight from British title level to world champions? Even Jones has fought Karass, a good test.

I don't think either party was really benefitting from working together, and thus a parting of ways is the best move.

It's pretty poor of Warren to come out with this stuff though, sure Brook has had his issues outside of the ring but none of them stopped him from fighting the weak opposition that Frank lined up for him during his stint as British champion.

Just seems to me like Kell lost confidence in Frank's ability (or willingness) to guide his career the way he wanted. It was too easy just to sit on the #1 ranking, fight bums and talk **** about Pacquiao knowing there's no way a fight is going to come off, and no way the WBO will want to miss out on some crazy sanctioning fees.

I mean, most champions automatically lose their titles when they step up a weight class..... strange that the WBO didn't apply the same rules to Pacquiao :hey

Brook has needed a step up for a couple of years, his chin isn't tested, his stamina isn't tested, and his power can't be guaged accurately either. There's a huge difference between a McIntyre or a Jennings (no disrespect intended) and a step up to 154 to face Cotto.

A one-sided KO loss does nothing for him at this juncture. I'm surprised a man of Frank's experience and knowledge would consider such a move.

 

the press conference after the mag7 Warren was asked why not go for the other belts or move up in weight as Pacquiao wont happen and the WBO won't drop him and he said that when your in such a good position with a governing body you shouldn't change it.

 

One day in the not tho dithtant future Warren will regret loothing Kell.

I keep on thaying it but Kell ith gonna be truly thpecial.

 

Why hasn't Manny stepped up and fought Kell?
