Apparently if Alex Arthur defeats Nicky Cook tomorrow night then Satan himself Frank Warren has promised good times for him.

This will begin with a fight with Marco Antonio Barrera!! ahahahahahahahahahaha

**** off fish eyes - I mean c'mon. I thought Barrera was moving up to lightweight. I know FW and Don King are pals but that's a joke. I do not want to ever see Barrera fight again, I'd rather remember the good times. What the **** would that do for Arthur and his resume, beating a washed up legend? Geez, his rivals would be shitting themselves.

Best thing Arthur could do is get the **** away from Warren.

Who do you want him to fight after Cook? have him fight the only other title holder at 130, IBF champion Cassius Bayoli? Who is he? Are US television networks going to be interested in Arthur Bayoli? Probably not, Barrera yes. Athur Barrera is also a bigger story in the UK with Barrera still being remembered for his schooling of Naseem Hamed. Barrera makes Arthur a bigger star than any other possible fight out there right now so I think Arthur shouldn't "get the **** away from Warren'. Imagine if Ricky fought a prime Tsyzu and lost? The importance of timing...

Listen, you'd rather he did I'd rather he didn't. Barrera is one of my all-time favourite fighters but I want him to quit.

Why not take on Rober Guerrero, that's right he's too dangerous. I want Arthur to do well but I don't want him fighting guys that should be retired.

Then there's Soto - the winner of Juarez v Barrios. Tough, tough fights.

You said "best thing Athur could do is get the **** away from Warren" I was just thinking well actually, if I was Arthur, I'd want to fight Barrera too! So I'd be egging Frank on to make the fight.

To be fair its a VERY good fight for Arthur. Much like every other SN fighter who capitalises on shot former greats im sure Warren could tempt MAB to British shores. Either way AA is not a fraction of the fighter he thinks he is and really should drop the moniker "amazing".

Could Marco make 130 anymore - I remember seeing him at ringside for the Hatton fight and it looked like they have been sharing diet tips.

A few weeks ago I heard there was gonna be a "legend" facing Arthur and when I consulted this board as to who this legend was the resounding answer was Barrera. What is the likelyhood that this fight narrowly fell through when Barrera decided to sign with King but for a bit more cash it could be a fight made six months down the line,

    Barrera would still ruin AAA.

Arthur is nowhere near as good as the droogs on here think. Barrera would school him now, before and anytime in the future.
Makes me laugh that 'Amazing' tag...he dropped it after Gomez smashed him up, then he wins a few fights against mediocre opposition and he brings it back again!!! LMFAO

What do you think  I use to like AA when he was a prospect and watched alot of his fights when he was coming up. Since the Gomez fight i realised this kid had ALOT of smoke blown up his ass. He was certainly good enough for domestic level but he wasnt half as good as he thought he was. Roach blew him out. He got handed a "world title" of sorts. And has been talking crap ever since about being a two weight champ and mixing it up with the best names at 130 and 35. Make it HAPPEN AA. I think you and i both know what the result of that would be..

I recall Arthur saying he wanted to be a three weight world champion.

Does that actually mean three weight world champion - or ''three weight WBO mandatory who gains the title after the champ vacates because you don't bring **** all to the table'' champion?

That lying twat Warren has been promising us(and Arthur) that 'we'll be looking at some big fights for Alex' for about three years now. Never happened. This is Arthur's biggest fight to date and he's on the undercard. Nuff said really
