My statement was clarified in my reply:

    Superstar /=/ Domestic US Star

Eddie doesn't have to sign a Conor McGregor but there are plenty of industry famous boxers who's signings would drum excitement... Danny, Mikey, Charlo bros, Spence, Thurman, Wilder, Fury etc. Now ask yourself why nobody is signing with Hearn / DAZN

All this is tangential. I didn't make or imply comparisons to Al or other upstarts.

    This is called strawman argumentation.

DaysInn is not free. It’s a pay subscription service. If I’m ever going to take a free month (doubtful), it will be to see a PPV-level card, not Vargas and Adamek.

Let me ask (again) — are you a subscriber?

    I can't subscribe...it isn't available over here.

And BJS v Andrade and Joshua v Povetkin are worth it.

Worth it to someone who is not paying for it and is unable to pay for it, lol.

Why do you care so much if you can’t even get it? What’s your reason for being such a shill?

I thought Edward was gonna conquer America but now I think it's unlikely. Very unlikely.

Had a great laugh at one of his interviews the other day when discussing Mikey Garcia & the possibility of Garcia being worried that Hearn won't have any fighters to face him. Hearn said this:

"We have Jessie Vargas which could be a great 147lb fight. We have Maurice Hooker. We've signed Farmer. We have Tennyson fighting and we've just signed Jon o'carroll! Lmao! Mikey Garcia vs Jon O'Carroll!!

You can't build a platform without hardcore boxing fans first. You get them by having talent. Eventually if you work it properly, that talent will have a crossover fight and maybe even become a crossover star in their own right.

Lots of these guys have promotional and network contracts already, you only get one or two of those guys coming up every so often.

He will still be able to get those guys shown on DAZN whether he can sign them or not though, because he can win purse bids on fights. It's not like they're starting from scratch either - DAZN, by virtue of getting Hearn, got the most bankable fighter on the planet in AJ and will have the rest of the Matchroom stable too.

Garcia would have been a great signing but they'd need to guarantee him the fights he wants before he signed - so you can understand apprehension from the real elite guys. It makes perfect sense for Usyk - has already cleared the division, wants to make a name for him in the US, wants to fight Bellew and has designs on fighting AJ eventually. The plan is all there already. It won't always be for others.

Still think there's a reasonable chance he gets Pacquaio.

So you make thread after thread, comment after comment, shilling for DaysInn because, which you now freely admit:

You want Americans to shell out their money to subscribe so you get more boxing without having to pay any more yourself.

Well, I realize the UK is a welfare state with 50 percent of the population on government assistance so you feel entitled for others to pay your way, but I say no thanks ... you want more, earn some money and give it it Eddie and pay for it. Don’t ask the USA to pay your freight.

Where do you come up with thread after thread, post after post about a streaming service you cannot even get where you live? Where do you get off telling Americans what to do with their money so you can have a free ride to watch more fights on Sky without paying more?

You have literally made numerous threads and hundreds of posts to promote a service you can’t even get. Every single criticism of DaysInn/Eddie on any thread is immediately answered by you.

Go to the Brit forum and post about Sky.

You just said you can’t get it where you live. So it doesn’t give you anything.

Of course, but let that be the investors' problem. Dunno who's gonna come out on top, but when there's competition, viewers win. There was a battle who's gonna cover one of the most exciting fighters in boxing, Naoya Inoue, between HBO (SuperFly), ESPN+ (McDonnell fight) and DAZN (WBSS). I mean a battle for US coverage. Of a Japanese boxer. That fights on Japanese time. Who speaks little to no English. At the end of the day, money poring into boxing is money pouring into boxing, and additional coverage is additional coverage.

Which is why I've said streaming companies are in to long run. Despite offering lots of stuff, Prime Video was nowhere near a Netflix competitor that was nowhere near an HBO competitor. Now they offer more original content than network television. I've no idea what Dazznn offers outside of boxing in the US at the start, but I'm sure it'll double, triple in time.

Plus if you're a true boxing fan, how can you NOT be excited for 3 weight classes of WBSS, top competition every weekend under the new formula, I mean that's the best thing that happened to boxing in recent years. And if you're still not, at least when something like Povetkin-AJ and Usyk-Bellew comes up (two very solid fights), you can just buy single month subscriptions and cancel, and stream all that and everything during that month in HD, 4K, HDR whatever the maximum format is.

Really, you can just transfer your HBO money into ESPN and Dayyszzz and watch quadruple amount of boxing, and it's still early early days.
