I believe the complete opposite to be true.

Fury is going to be Fury regardless of anything Dill Pickle does, he doesn't need Whyte to attend anything in order to do his thing. He still performed at the presser, and had fun and embarrassed Whyte in doing so, and Whyte will have been watching (and seething at) every minute of it despite his lack of engagement, because he's the kind of guy who can't help himself. If anything, this strategy will be having the opposite effect of that which was intended.

Why would I care that Whyte is ONLY getting 8 million, FFS I probably wont make that in my life time from my employment.

Tyson Fury is generating the coin not Whyte, Fury should probably be getting 90% if the fight was just based on who is generating the money

I am personally appalled by Whytes cry baby attitude, especially after he has talked som much smack about people ducking him for smaller pay days lol. I hope Whyte gets retired to be honest, than we never have to hear from him again.

Sometimes pre fight behaviour doesn't count for a thing. I just know that, if I was Whyte, I would be doing this. I guess we'll see.

True. And this is probably one of those times, given that Fury is that much better.

I suspect you to possess a more astute head and greater impulse control than Dillian Whyte, though.

I think Whyte's gone this route as much because he's mentally intimidated by Fury as for strategic purpose.

Agree with this, anyone who's watched enough of Whyte would know that Fury is likely to get under his skin in a matter of seconds in any sort of verbal argument.

Whyte does not have a good temperament.

I don't know, perhaps because most people don't want "one rule for them and another for us."

But sure, if you personally want to argue the toss because you can't relate to Whyte on a financial level. Well that's fine too, I guess

But saying Fury should receive 90% is not grounded in reality. And even if it was true, that would have terrible implications for boxing on a wider scale. It would result in A-side champions low balling difficult opponents and mandatories to drive them away, then making sensible offers to weaker opponents who are just happy to participate. The sport would collapse and it would just be sports entertainment at that point.

I mean it already is heading in that direction. So perhaps I'm pissing against the wind here.

Frank Smith then. If you believe fighters in these big main events have no access to tickets I have a bridge to sell you.

Why would Tyson Fury not be given tickets? Its one of the perks of the job never mind the fact that it would be completly ridiculous that a main event fighter could not provide tickets for his fans.

Then why pay Whyte anything? Just trim 10% off the costs and Fury can appear on his own in the ring. That's what people are paying to see after all?

The way Whyte and his lawyer are carrying on it wouldn't surprise me for them to ask for Whytes image to be blurred in the ring anyway.

I really can’t get my head around whytes silence, biggest fight of your career and you don’t want the public to know about it?

    This whole situation stinks!

when is the next press conference due?

If I was Warren and Fury I’d definitely have a backup opponent ready for when this fight falls through. Helenius wouldn’t be a bad choice looking at the rankings

He’s paid the same regardless. He is still suing the WBC and is not accepted the 80/20 split.

he will go through with the fight regardless but all he’s required to do is fight week presser, weigh in and fight. The rest of the time he’s decided to focus solely on training
