Dean Whyte seems to think that an allocation of the tickets should be reserved for "Whyte fans". Literally never heard such nonsense in my life.
I don't blame Whyte. He's been ****ed over by 80/20 ruling and Frank is known for not paying fighters
He felt disrespected as soon as they petitioned for 80/20. After that they messed with his flights and refused to give him any tickets. It wouldn't surprise me if they put him up in a travel lodge on fight week. Frank Smith in an interview said matchroom in say an O2 show would give the fighter 50/60 tickets. Why wouldn't Whyte get plenty of tickets for this fight?
That's not what he said. He meant Whyte should have got tickets he could sell to his friends. Why shouldn't he be able to provide his friends with tickets rather than they having to try buy them on general sale? His saying that because Whyte in his other fights has been provided with tickets. It is standard practice and the idea that he should be happy with 6 tickets is ridiculous. Tyson Fury would have been provided with tickets he could personally provide to his friends. 10k tickets Dean Whyte says Fury got, Whyte got 6. Surely you can see that isn't right.
no they didnt did you listen to the whole interview, they also promised to put the money in escrow if Whyte attended the presser but they never did so Whyte did not attend.
If this is the type of people that Dillian has surrounded himself with it’s no wonder he has lost out on bigger opportunities.
What an obnoxious lawyer. That said, he's goading Warren into saying things in a public forum, on air, that can later be used in litigation. So I guess he's doing his job. Technically.
I don't even like Whyte but I so want him to knock Fury out. Just so all these ****ing ******s can stop talking.
Dillian is so hard done by, only entitled to £5.5 million after being sparked by shot Povetkin and ducking Wallin. How is the poor guy going to pay his hospital bills after Fury's bashed his brains in?
Whyte hasn't got any friends. He's a self-admitted loner and his only friends are his three dogs (or it might just be two now) and his fake brother and some say undercover lover Dean Povetkin albeit I've never alleged such a thing. So Whyte doesn't need any tickets, unless that is you think his dogs should be allowed in the venue?
You think Povetkin got all these things when he fought Whyte either time? Obviously not. It's called being the B-Side. If Whyte doesn't like the terms he shouldn't have signed the contract.
"Frank baby"....I like it. Seriously, if I didn't get 3 or 4 tickets to one of my fights, I mean nice seats up close, I'd breach a contract and give up earning $8 million...possibly $12 million. a man has to have respect, which is represented by the number of tickets he has in his pocket.
Yep. Normal working class people don't have any sympathy for whiny millionaires complaining about their paltry £8m purse or whatever it is.
The point is that Whyte was trying to use promotion as leverage and it didn't work because the fight sold anyway. That's left him with a signed contract and a promotor who clearly can't stand him. He's going to have a grim time in fight week and has gained nothing.
